Watch the latest skate trailer for a developer update on the upcoming game, including the reveal of the skate. Insider playtesting program. #IGN #Gaming #Skate
Honestly if this has lobbies where you can skate with friends and the way the community and devs are so close, this might be the best thing ever. So stoked let’s go fam
Honestly if this has skateboards where you can do kick flips with friends and the way the community and devs are so close, this might be the best thing ever. So stoked let's go fam
Honestly if this has jetskis where you can jetski with friends and the way the community and devs are so close, this might be the best thing ever. So stoked let’s go fam
Honestly if this has people that like step on wood boards and do wacky maneuvers and the way the community and devs are so close, this might be the best thing ever. So stoked let’s go fam
No way! An EA trailer that is honest, funny and completely in touch with the community. I’m not only incredibly excited for Skate 4 but for the revival of gaming in general
This was so cool and I've always loved the skate team because they always seem so genuinely passionate about their work, game and community. Thank you for coming back and realizing you guys were missed
Whoever was on the PR team did a great job, people want to see others embrace their flaws and shortcomings. People are super afraid to show anything that isn't highly edited and not finished. Show of transparency is very refreshing. Also forms an intimate connection with the playerbase, by showing these early dev progress.
It’s great too how they’re clearly working on the fundamentals first, the mechanics already look really solid even though it’s still early in development
Shows the gameplay features, the community requests, does an absolutely great job of showing what's going while at the same time showing the game's potential and value.
This is great. Love it when devs explain their process, and especially, show it. This is making the whole thing a LOT more personal, and makes it seem like they really do care. Keep doing what you’re doing guys!
@@Khanviction92 don't call it micro transactions man!!! All these prices with "micro" transactions today have nothing in common with "micro" anymore!!!
So many memories just can't rushing back these games were so fun trying to certain jumps over and over and over again to seeing who could break the most bones and the music was 🔥but the sound of the skateboard is iconic
This trailer is honestly incredible. Every game developer needs to take notes. A team that truly listens to its players and uses that feedback to improve their game in every way. Perfection.
@@jordanmcmahan5665 plus, the corporate team isn’t the one making the game. The actual development team is. It’s not their fault EA didn’t move forward with another Skate game until now.
You know that ever since that star wars battlefront 2 game that atleast with the star wars series ea has turned from an over demanding manager to a chill landlord that just picks up rent every month?
Growing up parkour was one of my favourite things and skate 3 was one of my favourite games my younger self is screaming man can’t wait for the first proper trailer
What’s this? A game dev that actually listens to fans and is taking their time to make a great game without relying on updates to fix their mistakes? Can’t be real.
Really excited by the parkour elements they showed off here. Love the skating mechanics obviously, but there's a lot of fun in just jumping off your board sometimes and running about
@@grodcoyote6635 maybe it's more like tony hawk American wasteland where you can pick your board and run as long as you want, you can even drop it and get it back when you feel like it, it was very fun
@@melvinbrinson in a game focused on skating, it can provide a great exploration/mobility tool, and also fits in with how skating really works. People run, jump and climb to get to spots, over fences, up ledges, onto a roof, wherever - it really allows you to get to where you want to be in order to then start your run, go for that trick you’ve been wanting to try, go for that gap, etc- even at skateparks, it is much more fun to position yourself easily on your feet and then skate, rather than trying to specifically only skate, which would make it quite difficult in many situations
This is so awesome but when the game gets close to coming out, we're gonna need a full-on 90's grunge style trailer with fish-eye lenses, some radical tricks, and The Offspring
“It’s honest and genuine!” - no, it’s still marketing, they figured out which kind of approach you’d respond to and you’re having the anticipated reaction.
Genuinely must thank everyone who kept commenting on the EA insta to help bring this to life. You are all amazing, been a huge fan for EVER! Also, have a screen shot somewhere where someone commented "Skate 5" on the Skate 4 announcement, laughed so hard.
If they nail it which is looking like the case, this will be played for honestly maybe decades. Skate 3 still has a huge community to this day and this is only looking to peak that game in every aspect.
This is an amazing way to show the community through transparency and love where you are. Kudos to the teams and organization that are working on this.
Minor detail you all missed. The first few clips said in the left bottom corner "pre-pre-pre alpha." The ending, better looking clips only say "pre-pre alpha." 👍.
they obviously have one fully completed area of the map at the minimum. graphically it looks awesome. i'm gonna go ahead and say this game comes out fall or holiday 2023.
THIS is how you make a trailer that makes your audience feel apart of the journey and helps them justify a pre-order, showing us what you've been up to and honesty. BIG THUMBS UP
What a great and honest trailer. Honestly It's funny and exiting. Even though we have been waiting over a decade for the next Skate this trailer still keeps me patient even though EA is openly admitting that they are in pre-pre-pre alpha. What a great game update. So exited for Skate. (4)
