wait...people are actually complaining about the fact that these are handmade boards? CNC is more precise, but hand-making it gives you a ton of options. It's also nice to know that someone else put their time into making you a beautiful board. Admittedly shortboards are pretty uniform but custom longboards...absolutely beautiful. I could never own a mass produced lonboard.
I'm no expert, but I have a hard time believing skateboards are made with this much detail on a mass scale. If so they're definitely worth every penny.
After watching the amount of precision that goes into DSM decks (Rodney Mullen's), and then these hand made ones.. I dono if I'll ever by handmade again..
Just because there not top of the line brands dosent mean there made cheap. Theres a lot of companys that make great boards and are underground such as bloodwizard, lifeblood, bacon, merde, unheard, consolidate, darkstar, loser machine, elephant brand, lurkville, mini logo, and ect.

hey guys, thought i'd answer some questions. to get glue other than titebond, you need a hazmat license. the catalysts the pro companies use require that. and they arent cheap. that glue is 120$ to do 30 decks. The wood they use you wont be able to afford unless you buy a truckload. a truckload can be anywhere from $60,000USD to $80,000USD. If you dont get a truckload, your wood price per deck is about 22$. plus glue $6/deck. so thats 28$ without other costs. not cost effective to do.
I feel exactly the same. I was actually enjoying the video till I saw the "everything has a design and a designer. So do you," and i legit had to close my computer.
hand screened graphics leave smear streaks when you do boardslides and look totally badass, but doing more than 2 colors takes a lot of skill and time. heat transfer graphics tend to chip, flake off and look shitty but are super fast and easy to do.
this method of manufacture will still be used by small independant companys who dont have a huge supply need. bigger companies use a more automated process then the one u can see in this video
The skateboard has a designer and so do you is not a bad comment. No one has proof one way or the other, so it is unwise to rule it out. As for the workmanship, sure it isn't milled out by CNC so one COULD complain about their lack of modernism IF that is all that you are looking for in a skateboard. On the other hand, making decks 1 by 1 allows the worker to pay FAR more attention to detail and the end result is a better board due to being able to spot manufacturing flaws before they reach you
You have to design the machines in which you design the skateboards, then you have to design the pieces that will fit in the machine then....ILLUMINATI
@xXxLEW1SxXx yeah man wood working is hard stuff and expensive especially if youre hiring people with the proper skills. gives you a bigger respect for your boards i bet too.
@BlackGab10417 ehhh lol, i don't know if i have to be honest.. maybe because of the wood is cheap because my little brother has one of them u know the cheap boards and it snaps so easily i landed a kickflip on one and it snapped. i think there cheap because they have less layers and there a easily made product like you get xbox which is like £100 maybe $150 idk im not from America and then you get those really cheap random consoles which in england would be from £15 to £50.
You will never get a blank that will feel or ride right. You should be able to get blanks at any skate store, they will be branded but if you put a regular board over it, you'll notice the tail and nose bends wont ever match a board you like. If you do find one your lucky, it will be cheaper.
as it is called the heat roller to the printing of the skateboard. also like to know what kind of paper is used for such impressions. I appreciate that information.
a lot of people probly dident watch all of that but i did thats very interesting and good thanks for putting that in my mind thats why ima like subscribe and give it a veiw :D
Its a common misconception that the common ancestor of chimps and apes and humans were the same. There is a common ancestor of chimps and a common ancestor for apes, not both. Some people evolved from chimps, some from apes, we could leave room for other possibilities.
hey 2 questions...how long do you put the plywood veneers in the press mould machine for? and what material is the graphic heat transfer made out of? peace
What is the name of the wooden slats, which have such wide wooden slats. few layers introduced in the press and material that separates them? thanks in advance
