@@krobinson3827 and Wellington gets the most earthquakes, Not Christchurch. Moving to Christchurch from Wellington was one of the best things I’ve ever done
Are these men making this park for the children? Where are the children? I see only grown men who should be helping to clean the city. And are they suggesting that skate helmets are not a necessity in front of teens? The part about building to bring the community together... Honestly, this park will be a haven for teens to hang out at during a time that would be better spent helping people to clean up their homes, streets and businesses. It's great of Levis to do this project to bring a community together, but while the city needs their small percent of strong athletic skateboarding teenagers to pitch in and help clean up rubble, they are encouraged to build their skateboarding skills? Levis - nice effort to bring teens to this sport but not during a human catastrophe! And not without safety helmets! I could see an organization building a park for young children to play in because they can't help and can't play in their yards. Outside of that, my family loves your clothes.
As a teenager who lives and skates in Christchurch, I find your comment to be quite ignorant. The Earthquake was 5 years ago, and Levi's only built this skate spot last year, when the city hadn't been in a state of emergency for quite some time. Secondly, the city doesn't need "athletic teen skateboarders" to help rebuild, because we've got professional, government-funded construction companies working on the rebuild. It's not as if there's only enough time for one activity in our lives. We go to school, help our communities and still have time for pursuing our hobbies, such as skateboarding. It's not as if by skateboarding, we're neglecting any sort of duty. Personally I think Levi's has done a great service to our community.
Monica The reason there is no children is because they are building the Diy spot. Shortly after building the diy spot they rid it, no one knew the diy spot existed at the time because it was still being made
