I like what Tony said about her being the future of vert skating regardless of gender. I am glad that he did not say that she is the future of women’s vert skating. She is good period

Eh, I know some people are saying she shouldn't be a contender if she can't perform live on stage, but this probably isn't about winning for her. This is probably a chance for her to get more mainstream attention of her ability at such a young age, which will be super helpful for her career, so good for her 👍🏻

@@jonnyoliveira7 She’s very talented. My point is all she did was roll on stage and play a video (possibly even her audition video to get on the show in the first place) There used to be some smidgen of standard to this series. Now you can just roll up, hit play and stand there to get 4 yeses.

@@pash91 this is the cheap Canadian version of the show. They clearly didn’t have a budget to set up a ramp on stage, so the cheapest way around was to film her in a skate park. Nevertheless, the whole thing was already planned and rehearsed. Or do you think that by chance Howie had Tony Hawk’s number and he was able to make the call at that moment, with Tony’s Audio coming through loud and clear to the whole theatre. she's a vert skater, how will they get an 11ft - 16ft+ tall vert onto that stage ? they have to build one and vert's don't get built just like that, plus to get a good grade level it does cost quite a bit, so the video was pretty much her only option at this time

she's a vert skater, some vert skater's don't do park or street, they only focus on vert, some tricks she's done don't work properly with a mini ramp or other smaller ramps that are smaller than a full size vert, she's still learning as well so isn't at that level yet where she could possibly do a 540 on a mini ramp ... at least she showed what she can do, and get the word out what vert skating is to many people who might not of even herd of it before if she goes through maybe they're already working on a vert ramp for her so she can do it live in front of the audience instead of just a video maybe cgt didn't want to commit yet on building a vert ramp because it does cost quite a bit, and what would they do with it after ? i credit her for doing what she does and showing the world about vert skating, plus showing the world that anybody can skate

I get that she maybe can't skate there, but you have to at least have her at a skate park then and satellite footage. Everyone else has to perform on the stage live and if you mess up then you might go home. You don't mess up on a video ever because it's all your best footage lol it's a highlight video

This is so bizarre. I absolutely love Reese's riding and skills, but this is a talent show. If people can just send in videos of their best ever performance, why even have a live show in the first place?

I've watched thousands of audtions from multiple countries, and this one is by far the biggest bullshit. No way they let her through from a pre-recorded video
