Also a lot of the time people are just skating in public spaces so others have no right to tell them to leave/stop. I'm not talking about when security is involved, in that case they do need to stop, but with that one women in the white car, it just wasn't her place to be telling them to stop and leave. She didn't work there, she wasn't a cop, therefore she had no authority.

I am in my 40s and still skate almost daily. If I see skaters being harassed _for no good reason_ I will absolutely stand up for them. If they are being disrespectful / damaging property or careless and allowing their boards to fly into the sides of parked cars, I will take a stand against that too.
