Is it me or are skaters huge narcissists? Or maybe it's just that kids in general are so self-centered. When I do hobbies, I don't need to do them in the middle of a public crowded public area. Like imagine if golfers just started teeing up on main street. Or if I started a hockey game up in the middle of the business district on private property as people are trying to work and shit? And it's always, "Let me just do it once then I'll leave", which turns into 75 awkward attempts because only pros land anything consistently. IDK I used to skate, but now at 35 I find myself sympathizing with the security guards more than the annoying skater kids. Like they are just trying to put food on the table and they have suburban little billy badasses hiding behind their age with their 80 dollar skate t-shirts (getting your mom to buy overpriced nonsense is so "streetwise" and "urban" amirite) trying to dirty up their bosses buildings and rails and shit. Probably sue them if they get hurt and shit.

I'm 36 now and still skate everyday I have off work but I do it at the skateparks around my house, I'm too old to be skating schools and stuff anymore 😁. The 90s for skating was fucked, we were treated like gang banging drug addict criminals, now Skateboarding is a lot more accepted.
