Great to see. I did a 100 mile journey a few years ago. Planned my route meticulously, but there were times I felt exactly like Brooke did on my journey too. Finding a route free from traffic is the key. Well done, to all of you.
I am a longboarder and the most I have ever skated at one time is about 18 miles and that is without a pack. I can't imagine skating as many miles as you guys did each day. Anyway with that said, I think longboarding can be a good way to travel, but only if you keep the mileage down to 10 - 20 miles a day and have a couple of rest days each week that you are on the road. Anyway kudos to all of you for completing the journey.
So I am one of jaylena subscribers, found Brandon and than found your youtube channel I have watched like 3 episodes already and I think I cried during each one. You are a true bad ass and inspiration
Alyssa!! Thank you so much that means the world to me! I want to encourage you to try something new today if you possibly can if not today I need you to do it tomorrow and put it on the list. If you ever thought of doing some thing go do it don’t say no to yourself. 💕
Thank you for making this video :) I am honestly inspired and despite the fear, I feel motivated to trust myself in staying consistent and being able to learn and push myself with skateboarding
I'm so proud of all of you!! That's amazing! I'm wondering what type of mental journey you were on the whole time as you were skating there. Just want to say how mentally and physically powerful you all are, it's truly inspiring!!
I haven't commented in a while, but after you did your first long board video I bought one and have been cruising around my town. I didn't even know you could travel so far in an urban area all the way to Mexico. This is super impressive and inspiring! Keep up the awesome videos!
Had a dream about doing this. Slipped around that fenced place, too. It was an almost perfect recreation but my path was on water... like I skated off the land into the ocean surrounding a prison and back. Had to be a decade ago, now. Woke up feeling more awake than I ever have. This isn't just a beautiful experience. It's a dream. Glad you guys made this fantasy a fact.
You should have millions of subscribers and I'm sure you will with time you can count me as your newest I love the passion you have I recently lost my leg and I'm trying to keep motivated and watching you is making all the difference so thank you
Brooke: Skates to a whole new country with a camera and a long board: Ok Me skating 1 mile to the skatepark: im fine on the outside, im decapitated on the inside.
What an adventure! I am sure you have inspired many women and girls to face fears and break barriers! The team work and support was really lovely to see.
BROOKE!!! Thanks for pushing yourself to crazy lengths to inspire all the ladies out there. I always think as long as you can impact one person's life, you've done your job. I think you've inspired a lot more than just one person :)
i was hoping to come see some longshot footages of people skating & having fun on their adventure. but instead all i see is the video of you girls complain and whining the whole trip for straight half an hour. and jesus what the hell is wrong with you people. no helmets or any protection gear. wearing heavy load backpacks. beginner longboard handling skills. you people are very lucky to still be alive and didn't get crushed by a truck or fell off a cliff at highspeed. This is very very bad example.
I’ve been skating for 13 years thanks. Didn’t know that was beginner. Glad you watched the video. We could have wore more safety gear. Next trip that is something I will do for sure. Thank you for looking out. 💕
@@BrookeDoesEverything i saw your video learning to downhill a year ago. i will give it to you straight. your long board skills and confidence still haven't progress much at all. cmon. all i can see in your vlogs is your close up face of not having fun and the poor dude that is always there. enduring and trying to keep the day together. look.. I know that im being blunt im sorry. but i don't think you really need these vlogs. be it to boost your confidence, validation, self motivation or whatever reasons. just go out and have fun for real. (and make sure to always wear a helmet when downhill)
Still no evidence whatsoever that you actually made this trip, just multiple shots of you guys in different places, none of you sweating none of you dirty not your wheels perfectly clean. Like you drove around and took some videos and then pretended like you made the push. Nice work if you can get the suckers to swallow it. Let’s see the raw video of your entire trip post it and shut me up.
Just gonna put it out there that there is possibly like 10-20 hours worth of footage(multiple cameras and whatnot) and no one wants to watch 10 hours of footage that could boil down into 30 minutes of content
Holy cow! That’s a great point! I typically skate 25km in session, and I’m a sweaty mess at the end of it, never mind close to 100km like in this vid 🤔….still, entertaining video none the less
