No More Heroes was originally going to be a short film called Skatopia '78 - the Summer Years. My brother Phil and I made this promo to submit to Creative NZ for funding in 2001. We were unsuccessful but ended up applying again 2 years later and receiving some financial support. The film grew into a feature and was released first in 2006 and re released in 2015.
