GL Tron. Me and my 3 brothers would crowd around and do 4-player split screen all on one keyboard because you only needed two keys for the game. Left. Right. Amazing piece of music. Amazing game!
GLTron was my first foray into the world of Tron. Never was very good at it lol but I liked the visuals. Learned later from my uncle that it was based on Tron. Watched that, watched Tron: Legacy, and Tron: Uprising. Been a fan since.
I will comment just for the future society: This is the more underwatched and unkown piece of art I've ever experienced. Whenever I come to listen to this, it has more and more views. I really hope this gets the recognission it deserves.
@@AnnatarTheMaia I haven't listened to that one and you just made me discover the whole Second Reality demo so thank you! Yeah it's pretty awesome so far. BTW if you know any related artists or music similar to Skaven or this 90's, PC-related stuff I would love to listen to them
@@AnnatarTheMaia Skaven even admits in the first 3 seconds of the video that this is just random shit thrown together. I know on his website in the various track descriptions, he says he's only been happy with two songs. He admits he isn't a trained musician.
@@KellCarlylewell Sir you are in luck, because you just ran into someone who grew up on the Amiga and the Commodore64 before that, and was and is part of both cracking scenes to this day. For starters, listen to some MODules by Kenet & Rez, Dr. Awesome, 4mat, Jogeir Liljedahl, Clawz, Romeo Knight, Danko, Fajser, Laxity, Nork, Megawatt & The Sound Legend, Yaz, Quazar, ... When you're done with all of those, come back here for the next round.
One of the best Skaven mods for sure... I always thought it sounded like the soundtrack to Starcraft, which was just coming out at the time when I was getting into mod trackers. Great song!
This one inspired me to make a short top-down, beat'em-up game (actually it's a game's demo) in RPG Maker. The main theme of this game is a ninja cat fighting off invasion of evil space dogs on his homeworld. Hence the title - "Ninja-Cat" :)
hi! why all of these trackers sound like Unreal Tournament OST? what kind of style is this? i cant find this kind of music on new song. by the way thanks for uploading it!
Unreal Tournament has until just recently been using their own internal tracker format. However, I believe they published the specifications, so there are players out there that will play the music from Unreal Tournament, if you have the original files. DFTBA! :)
@@jaimdiojtar OH ! My mistake. This would probably just fall under the general umbrella term "electronic" or "electronica". "Tracker music" is also an appropriate term. Sorry about the mixup. =)
@@maverickbna but is a weird electronic music. If you search for modern it does not sound like this. Its like this is only 1980 or 1990 style only? A shame that this died over time! If you know more of this style please share some good ones! I know purple motion buth others may be cool!
Jaim Diojtar Check everything made by the guys who created tracker music for Unreal Tournament -- the original Unreal, Deus Ex, Crusader No Remorse. I would suggest to also check Amiga music -- it's where the tracker music was born back in the late 80s.
I can paste it right away but... would you understand Polish AND cope with (horrible - in opinion of others) difficulty level? :) After all it's just a short, little and simple game :P
ultimateam.pl/konkursy/UFT2011/Preki_NINJA_CAT.exe - ok, here it comes. But I don't take any responsibility for possible errors, frustration, broken keyboard, desk, etc. :)
