he is one of the most versatile and lethal electronic / IDM artist in the scene. I am simply glad to listen and enjoy his works. Always breaks and mingles my head, it is just mind boggling wizard shit yet romantically beautiful and sentimental at times...
The dope thing about AD Dub is that most of you with a really powerful or big sub won't even realize there's a whole other note that hits after the main bass line. This is not some elite'ist comment, just something I observed listening in my car vs. my house.
Totally, I hate to think that squarepusher and aphex are inaccessible but this sounds like something I would play to someone to lube them up before aphex, squarepusher, vibert, Tim exile etc... 😅
Steamer has that unique sound we hear in Shred (and some of the ISS) I just hope he never shies away from it, as it's clearly his own style. What happened to Burial, i hope doesn't happen with Skee. 15:19
@@user-xu4xw6jm7d True, he is. and like i said in my first comment, he doesn't make the sound he is known for. he stopped years ago.. hell, maybe a decade now? not really sure and honestly couldn't care. i have skee mask now in my life.
@@kozmicflush980 you can have artists making the same type of sound they started with or invented. They too need novelty in their musical experiments. It is not uncommon to see progression in an artist's discography, even departure from their earlier sound. The process is just too organic and nubile, not ready made template that can keep delivering same kind of tune.s
