Those conditions were actually fairly poor for Skeleton Bay. Those waves were chandeliering and closing out. Go watch some Koa Smith videos where he goes when it's perfect conditions.

Brett barley will put one out soon from his trip during this swell. He always takes longer to do his production but I promise you it will be a hell of a lot better than this vlog was. Very disappointed in this one

8ft Hawaiian at most and no JOB. I didn't tune in for Nate, Ivan, and Koa Smith. Nate or Koa did say that there is no internet there, so maybe next week. Saw the IG tease so we know he was there.

I don't even know if they got out in the water because they always put a name on it when it's one of the crew or job and I never saw that. A lot of smaller waves and like you said, nobody was making them. I expected some killer POV footage from in the barrel. I think he knows this wasn't good footage, I don't think I've ever seen one where he doesn't say anything at the end of it. Probably the worst of vlog I've ever seen JOB put out. I haven't seen barley's footage because he takes a long time to do his production before he releases a vlog, but I have seen a few clips and he scores hard like he always does there. Oh well, we all have our down days

@@dreichert1438 its so raw, the way the double ups are, it’s not the best waves I have seen, but the raw footage, of double over years point break rights, it’s insane

@@tjtsanadis that place is remarkable indeed. I would advise you to check out Brett barley's life on water vlog. He'll be coming out with one from this well, as I have only seen a clip so far. He has ones from the past with some really sick POV shots from inside the barrel where you see exactly how ridiculously long those barrels can be. Koa Smith has good footage and I have seen footage from others that I just can't recall right now. I'm sure hey RU-vid or Google search will bring up some more impressive footage, and I say that because the conditions have been far better than this and POV footage from this place is just unbelievable. I think Jamie has the ability to school this way unlike many people can and I was sure looking forward to seeing him kill it. Instead we didn't see him at all. Maybe there will be another episode. I think they just didn't get it right. Usually the beach isn't flooded so hard. That allows people to ride really long waves and then get driven back up the point instead of walking a mile up the beach. Look up shootout at skeleton Bay, it just came out over a week ago. Not the biggest skeleton bay about some perfect action and barrels along with some great overhead shots
