@@lizoliver3021 Oh it would seem you don't know what a voice actor does. They act with their voice and sometimes voice-act with impressions. Tom Kenny's normal voice does not sound like SpongeBob, because that is an impression.

YowLife sorry, I wasn't referring to the acting itself, just the phrasing. Yes, Tom Kenny doesn't sound like SpongeBob 24/7, but he came up with the voice and made it his own over the years. Alan voiced skeletor, so it's his own. Srsly tho he is very enthusiastic, heard he's pretty nice

I go through the same feeling sometimes. I used to watch this show as a kid, but barely remember it. This video makes me want to refresh my memory.

Skeletor is arguably the greatest fictitious villain of all time. I think he was the influence behind Freddy Krueger's charismatic one liners. Skeletor had tons of them.

Here's one of my favorite Skeletor quotations, "Promises come in handy, when you can find a fool to believe them". A keeper for sure but, Oppenheimer didn't say it here.

The mic does a lot too. I remember the first time HomestarRunner gave us some stuff recorded with higher quality mics (the music album, then later the telltale games and then the toons in the "oh people have high speed internet now, we can stop compressing the audio quite so hard" era and suddenly Marzipan doesn't really sound like Marzipan anymore. Took getting used to.
