Most people don't understand the concept of "buying the dip" buying the dip is all about buying digital assets when their prices are down and selling off when the price rises.
I don't really think I'm ever going to sell my Tesla shares. I'm expecting Tesla will start paying dividends in about a decade's time as they won't know what to do with all that money.
SMR suggested Tesla would eventually pay a dividend back in a video in like 2020. He said it would be a while before Tesla pays a dividend but over the ultra long term it is a certainty.

Funny thing is, that the Energy increase of 2.3x Q1 (2.12 Billion more than Q1 using napkin Math) is probably equal to approx 53000 Tesla Cars more at an average price of 40K. If Tesla reported that they had sold 497000 cars in Q2 the stock price would have been more than $300 now imo 🤪

People do not know Nvidia tracks use of their Ai chips, they want them used. Another reason Elon diverted them was literally Nvidia lowers order priority for companies who are slow to use their chips. Tesla would risk falling in delivery preference for future orders if they accepted delivery then let them sit despite Elon and Jensen being friends.
just contrarian thought here; ok Tesla wasn’t ready to integrate & commission the GPUs, but how was Xai in a better position to do so, that company was just incorporated, right? Sitting in a warehouse with Xai? I guess not an issue for Tesla inventory wise etc 🤷🏼♂️

I wish there was more coverage from industrial analysts who analyzed software rather than cars or hardware. Software expectations and missed date match much closer to tesla's situation
About the Nvidia chips: It's also a plus for Tesla if they are training at X for a few extra months so that they can integrate Grok 3 to their cars faster.
Real Question here Steven, i have a do not touch investment of tesla And a itchy fingers section, in the UK we have stocks ISA, that you pay 0 Tax on gains. You reckon in this case its more worth trading in and out? If i didnt have this, i would be on the side of selling is a bad move to pay taxes then back in on the "hope" it goes down. @@mrbushpilot FSD is very impressive, but to fully operate a vehicle with no driver is going to require a substantial increase in its abilities. 95% there is the easy part, the last few % is going to be extremely difficult imo.
If you can’t take the risk the. Don’t invest. Stick is not for people like you. Of course, if it was 100% certain everyone would invest in it. The hard part is investing just before it reaches 100% certainty.
I'm one who HOPES the stock collapses because I'm not quite in a position to start buying. At 78 I gotta get the aging thing under control (having a tank made for HBO2 sessions) before it makes sense to spend part of my SSI on TSLA.
Morgan Stanley is certainly afraid to change their price target. Energy is growing faster than just about anyone thought. Its easy to reduce Auto at the moment but doesn’t show any foresight. MS doesn’t have Optimus in this analysis and it will likely grow faster than either Energy or Auto. If Tesla could only have one product the bot would be the one!
One part of the business that hasn't been talked about much is the possibility of using the distributed compute power within the vehicles. They might be doing it already and just not disclosing that to owners but surely those sophisticated autonomous extremely well-chipped self-driving taxis are going to have a lot of compute power that could be harnessed while the cars are idle. That compute could be shared much the same way they expect the vehicle to be share. Look into it. Similar to how Bitcoin is mined. I am curious about the cost of the advanced chips that the vehicles will need though, or they might be able to get some of their brains from the network and not a chip inside the vehicle itself until the cost of chips comes down to where a car can be truly autonomous even when disconnected from Starlink or whatever other network it is on.

AND if TSLA had decided not to take delivery Bob Lutz pointed out that they still would have had to have paid. That’s the way the industry works. So it would have been a gigantic capex for zero had they passed, we call that a waste of money and not good for shareholders.
I can’t believe Tesla is missing another self-imposed deadline. Test the basically sucks these days. They have to re-create their entire company because they’re auto company is failing and not worth anything near what the stock is worth so it’s all based on autonomous and we have yet to see anything anywhere near ready to go in the streets and they sent this August 8 and now they’re moving it and the stock is dropping again massively.everybody else is getting wealthy except the stockholders
Their auto company is failing? You do realize that the Model Y is literally the most purchased car of any variety IN THE WORLD last year. Probably this year too.
