Forgot to tell you my very favorite thing about the holidays are my family getting together. The little ones getting so excited about everything. Nothing better. Thank you
This is just the cutest card. I love that bear. It's so fun for you and Jennifer to do these one on one's. You are both so talented and we are the winners getting to see you work. Thanks for sharing your talent!
I so much appreciate your method of narration. even if you are showing us a new technique, you still speak as tho' we know our craft. it feels like sitting across the table from a friend after asking, "hey! how'd you do that". thanks!!
Jennifer was right; the two of you had very different takes on the same sketch! Both of you made absolutely beautiful cards and really inspired me by what (& how!) you made them! Thanks so much! Hope to see more challenges like this from you both in the future!
This is amazing Kristina! Love how you turned the sketch upside down and that background is stunning--The little hand drawn stars and the sentiment down the side are the perfect finishing touches. Thank you so much for sharing--It means so much.
I love the uniqueness of the card base size and the overall design. I wasn't sure about the whitespace at first, but by the end of the video I was all for it.
I love the simplicity of the scene! Sketches are the hardest for me to do so I love how you flipped the entire thing over and softened the straight edge. Sweet sky, too!
I love this card! I think sketches are a fabulous way to get a design going quickly. That is my weakest area - designing the layout, so sketches are my friend! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us. I love your ink blending. The colors looked a bit "what the heck" when you started, but, as always, you gave us a gorgeous card! Thanks again, Betsy in the Seattle suburbs
What a great card! Your ink blending is beautiful and I really like how you did the stars with a pen instead of paint splatters. I also really enjoy the music you play in your videos. It's always very enjoyable. Thank you!
Such a sweetly fun card, Kristina. It really does seem magical when you peel away the masking paper; something I never seem to get tired of seeing. Thanks so much for sharing....I love what both of you have done with the template. ~HUGS~ #kindnessmatters
Beautiful sky. I am looking forward to being at home this Christmas. I was taking care of my dear Mama last year and didn't even get to put up my Christmas tree or make cards.
Love the little scene you created, Kristina! Great colors for the sky, too. I don't know if it's just me, but between the music (which puts me in mind of Vince Guaraldi's "Christmas Time is Here") and the sparkle stars you drew in the sky, all I can think of is "A Charlie Brown Christmas"! And that's a good thing. :)
Wow! You took that sketch and made something amazing out of it. It's just perfect. I was wondering about the envelope from the beginning but now I know it needs no special envelope I want to make long, skinny cards too! TFS!
thanks for this video. What a different way to make a card. The long way cause everyone always make a standard card this one is much nice for cash. I always watch your video and Jennifer totally a video love it. I must remember to do this one for Christmas.
This has to be one of my favourites of yours. I love the colours, the bear, the shape of the card and the black accent sentiment along the edge. It all came together to make the perfect card. I might even give this one a try!
Love the unique size of the card, and your coloring is perfect. I also watched Jennifer's video. I like that you had a completely different twist on the card design. Very nice. TFS.
This is such an AMAZING card Kristina and it was fun watching both your takes on this. It's funny eh how each one of us has our own unique style and for me it is one of the best things about creating! I just have to add that whenever I watch one of your tutorials, it is such a relaxing and enjoyable experience girl and you are the best at it!!! Thank you...I really needed that today...gentle hugz, Nancy
This is so cute and adorable I just love it and the colours match so well btw I think you should get a 'wreck this journal' I think yours would look amazing
Great coloring as usual and a darling card even if it is business envelope size. Just so cute! Also............I to tried to find the music "Night By Night" by Martin Landh and no luck, even on Amazon.
BEAUTIFUL...Lots of work...most people would not appreciate it... most people just Toss There Christmas Cards. At the End...So sad IM AN ARTIST...I APPRECIATE IT...
