Meshuggah is everyone's favourite band... They just don't know it yet 😁

HI Christopher! Thank you so much, the video helped a lot. One question about sharing and sync libraries: our client want to have an actual UI library in his Mac-app Sketch, should he be an Editor in our Workspace or he could be a Guest / Viewer, it is really not clear from Sketch Documentation and video reviews and articles. We are thinking to buy a subscription but if a client should be an Editor so it would be nonsense anyway. Thanks for your answer!

Things have changed a little since I did this video, so try this. Setup a paid account for one person as the admin or editor, then add another as a viewer. As the admin,, share the library with the viewer then sign into Sketch as that viewer. If you can access the library at that point then you'll know it works 🙂.

Hi Christopher! Long time follower here, since the firsts steps on Dezin! It's awesome how big the DS got. :D Sorry my first comment here is for this =P but here it goes: Is that white "h1D R" ok? Might've missed a video, but it seems you turned the display h1s into t1s and missed that one. :) Keep up the great work!

Hi Cristian! You're correct, I changed them into a class called "Title" instead of "Display". I'll go over this in part 20 of the Dezin series that I'll be recording soon. There's lots of changes and it now lives in Sketch for Teams instead of Abstract. I'm planning on bringing it into Figma and you can also use the Webflow version which is here: webflow.com/website/Dezin-Design-System

Hi Christopher, thanks a lot for the video. But I had a doubt from UI developer point, let's say for android or web developer, what is the scale for the width , padding etc specified for each ui elements?

Hi Sneha, that depends if you're using pixels, pt or dp. The inspect feature in Sketch for Teams only shows pixels at the moment. you can still inspect to see the spacing between elements (Which should be an 8pt scale if your designer has adopted this) and the size of text items etc, but it's not going to allow you to switch between CSS/iOS/Android mode like Abstract, Invision an d even Figma allows you to.

Hi Christopher! One of my fellow designers asked me a really good question about Sketch, team libraries, and how files update with the new "Smart" features. So let's say that you change the padding by 2 or 3 pixels in a button in the symbol library in a Sketch files that has dozens of pages. Will I need to go through the entire Sketch document and fix the spacing wherever that updated button is? Or does Sketch adjust it? We're worried that library updates will mess up the spacing of elements on a page -- my co-worker is working on a 100-page file shared with an external client team that makes weekly updates.

The only way to test if this works is to test it out 🙂. Put together a test library and design file, make the adjustment and see if it works. I think you'll be OK but give it a go first.

@@ChristopherDeane Excellent idea. I'll work it out and let you know how it goes. Thanks!

from what i understand...when you update an element in the document library it will automatically update all symbols associated with that component. This wouldnt be share out to the team unless you updated the designated master library document. If you are concerned about the adjustment affecting current layouts then make the revised button a new symbol in the library. If you drop that new symbol into the share docuement then the team would be notified of the change.

How to upload the sketch and corroborate together?

Hello! You can both work on the file that's in Sketch for Teams, but you might find some conflicts of you don't co-ordinate well with your other designer. If you use Abstract there will be less conflicts as you work in branches that are separate to each other.
