He's from Wales, UK, but now lives in Brighton, which is near London and has a big London influence. Lots of people came to the uk from the Caribbean and brought Reggae with them, having a big influence on British music, especially in the 80s.

The guy can certainly rap, yes! Check out The Hunger for a flow-tastic cocktail of lyrical bars. Anyone mention that he creates his own beats yet? And nice spot on the movie influences - he said in an interview that he takes a lot of inspiration from films, naming Tarantino as one of his many favourites. He’s a Welsh ‘boi’ (that’s the Welsh term for ‘lad’), from the enchanting island of Ynys Môn (or ‘Anglesey’ in English).

I'm loving y'all. PLEASE do The tale of Jenny and screech and Violet FULL version. There are separate videos for these but he put them altogether because it's crucial that you watch them in the order he put them in to make the story make sense. It is MIND BLOWING, just like ALL of his stuff.

In the UK Regae is infused into all things good. He is Welsh. Grew up with his mom in a rural area 1 hr from grocery store. At 12 started making beats- couldn’t find a vocalist to sing beatbox or rap so taught himself. Then at 15 he picked up a guitar ( took 2 lessons which he disliked) and turned to RU-vid to teach himself. He now plays piano- cello- drums- guitar- bass …..
So a lot of the inspiration for this one came from Barrington Levy's song by the same name "Murderer". If you aren't familiar already, you should really check that one out too. You'll hear the influence. Great reaction ❤

Somewhere on Joe E Sparks (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rZqNBaISaXQ.html) comments, Luke Flagg said this: so we actually had to hide a cut going in and out of the car because it was just me on camera and also shooting in a moving car with really specific camera movements and focus...I didn't know anyone who could do it the way I wanted, so I just had to end the first shot be leaning as far into the car as I could with the camera. Then cut and open the door, sit in the car. Then hold camera out of the car window as far as I can and record as I bring it in again, starting the next shot. Hardest thing was to 99% match the overlapping shots in that moment it goes through the window: angle, composition, etc. So there's a freeze frame where the inside of the car is a different shot to the outside of the car. BLOOPER ALERT: Did you notice at (8:31) the last car on the right is a dark colored car, then after the camera comes out the window there is a white car there. Time 4:01 Scene from LOSING IT
Absolutely called it mate. Ren is a massive fan of films, particularly owt by Stanley Kubrick. Not sure about Jason Statham films as I don't watch his stuff apart from Snatch. You should check out his live version of this song. He often reinvents his songs ( Animal Flow..) with pared down live performances on a hilltop or the back of a double decker bus❤😂
