Taking it slow today, thought I'd film myself sketching! I only have two pages left in this sketchbook so keep an eye out for a sketchbook tour soon!! EEE! So excited to share this one with you. I drew a lot of new and interesting things this go around.

well, its chopped up. XP In reality it took me about an hour and 15 minutes. Let me know if you think I should do real-time sketching videos. Then again, If I do that, i should just livestream, huh? haha

I wish someone (you?) would show more about the process of finding and using references for sketching. I'd love to actually see the reference pictures, maybe even the process of browsing for references and choosing them, and then drawing from them and the little differences you make when sketching from them. Does that make sense? Like, "References for Dummies".

simplify the shapes! cut out any details that aren't necessary to tell the story. and by story, I mean like the character. XP

Leah Peach sinix design has videos on it if you look up anatomy quick tips he has them on eyes noses and mouths and includes how to simplify them. and for me looking at art from ppl that draw in a anime-ish style helps

I absolutely love your style! I'm going through the awkward phase in my art because I'm still learning things and changing my own style up because I've been admiring you and Kasey. I absolutely love your sketchbooks and am so glad that you share your old work and current work in them. It shows that there are transitions and that the "bad" is just transition to something new and possibly better. LOVE! Keep it up please!!

How can a person be so inspirational? You are sooo talented and a fun person to watch or listen to. It's because you all clicked when there was no likes RU-vid doesn't update as the likes come in you would have to go out of the video and go back in to see the true amout of likes and even then that's only for the time that it finished loading

Watching you draw in your sketchbook makes me realise how lazy I am. I like drawing faces and, sadly, this is the only thing I feel like drawing - from one angle only. I very rarely challenge myself. As I see, you always practice a lot- not only difficult poses but also animals and objects. Very inspiring! Thanks.

Maybe it's beacuse I only sketch, so I appreciate them more and see their qualities better but I really love yours. I love the shapes you use as base for the body and limbs and the flowiness of the lines. I love how light the sketch starts and how it gets darker for the right lines. I just love how you move your hand and creatr such harmonious(?) figures. Your art makes me happy. I can't even be jealous. I appreciate and love so much your skills. Please don't underestimate yourself. You're an amazing artist.

I'd love to see more videos like this. Since I'm trying to sketch more in my sketchbook, it's very inspiring and motivating seeing artists I admire just casually sketch. I would absolutely love to see a realtime of how you sketch! Not many artists do it and I love your art so much it would be great to see how you do things and then improve my art too!

If you ask me, I actually like this format for showing your sketches. We get to see you drawing some while you give a commentary. It also inspires me to draw on my own sketchbook and not worry so much about how they look. Personally, I wouldn't completely watch a full live version because it's a longer video. I know many people would love that, but I, personally, like the short and concise videos where you show some process but skip the longer parts. You should definitely do more of these sketchbook videos. They are fun to watch and inspire people to sketch freely!

Thank you :] Thank you for making me want to draw again. I used to draw all the time as a kid, and as life went on I lost interest in it. I've been watching your videos in the last few days and you woke something inside of me. It's going to take time for me to get back to this but I will try to draw something everyday. Omg i love your art! I wanna fill up sketchbooks like that. I always just draw one thing on a page and never do front and back but i should!! You inspire me so much!!
