You know, at first I couldnt stand your videos because you were always so positive about art and I guess I am just depressed and miserable sometimes, but I feel like by just following your advices and listening to you helped me improve a lot, not on the technical side, but with the relationship I have with my drawings. You're really inspiring and this sketchbook of yours is awesome ! You're really skilled as an artist and I truly respect and admire that !

Jess, your art is absolutely amazing! after watching this video, I feel inspired. I'm a 11 year old who started art 3 years ago, and I have come a long way thanks to videos, and practice. I know that I want to do art, and I want to become serious about it. "I've also been finding beauty in simplicity, and learning to live, and make the most of every moment." is beautiful. I love everything about your art Jess, but today it is your use of colour that has really inspired me. I'm finishing a mini sketchboook that lives in my bag and I've used only ink pens, just black, grey, green and a metallic pink (sounds weird but it works). It's been great for focussing on my line drawings, but now I'm itching to unwrap the new mini waiting for me and I want to let it explode with ALL the colours! Thanks again for creating a channel I come to for inspiration, where I am never disappointed 🥰

You have so many monochromatic paintings here and it's amazing how you focus on the values, shapes, and composition for this sketchbook! I think you've mastered colors so well that you delved into other aspects. I feel that I also paint in monochrome now or in a limited color palette coz it's interesting. Amazing sketches 💗

Whatching this at 7 am while getting ready for university and I finally realized what your videos remind me of - The game Life is Strange (the first one in particular). Your vibe, calm narration and choice of music, it's really similar. That being said, Life is Strange is one of my all-time favorite games. Great video!

each share is a smorgasbord, ty. invested in yr new fountain pens and uni suggestions ( love the jetstreams) & the local art store had the little yellow journal...imma zentangle junkie with mixed media in my spirit...nowhere near pro quality and portraits are a future maybe i'll be good enough to draw what ii see, but for now, even simple penwork brings joy. Ty for modeling that.
