Not many artists have the courage and the maturity to show their early work, and they present only their more recent, more developed pieces. I admire you more now. You´re an amazing person, not only an amazing artist. Respect
Only time will tell if Cesar will be remembered in the history books, but as a fellow artist I can say the way he thinks about art and expresses himself not only with his art but with his words reflecting on art... he is an artistic genius. And out of all the RU-vid videos I've seen, his content is actually about artistic expression and not "look at me" "how -to -videos". He deserves major recognition for that. Cesar is a special guy.
Our feed is overfilled with "perfect" sketchbooks, sketchbooks as final work of art. It is nice to see the video that reminds us (me in this instance) that pictures on a sketch book don't have to be perfect, if you want to scribble some lines you can, you don't have to have a finished idea in mind. I often forget that, seeing all those perfect sketchbooks, and sometimes it becomes this burden in my head to doodle in mine, without aim to get perfect or aethetic outcome
Glad to discover your art trough proko... Your in your way to become a f****** living master, thanks for been so open to share your art and knoweledge😉
I always enjoy seeing sketchbooks - the random sketches, thumbnails, experiments with different materials, different techniques. Thanks for sharing your first sketchbooks with us.
Thanks for the tour of your beautiful sketchbooks. For me, I sometimes feel annoyed when I look back on my sketchbooks. I see a drawing that makes me think " aaargh !!... what was I thinking ?!! "... or something that makes me cringe - either the idea, or maybe it might be badly drawn and I can now see that. The impulse is to tear it out, but I don't want to ruin the book itself 😄. Thanks again, your skill is very impressive !
