Very nice sketching I like how you show the techniques of using the different paints and painting over other colors and shadowing effects , I love the cat . Thanks for a good tutorial
A question I've always wanted to ask you is, when you draw café scenes or crowd scenes, do you use reference photos or draw in situ? I'm guessing it's a mixture of both, but it must be difficult to draw groups of people in cafes when they are coming and going so frequently. Many thanks for all the great videos!
If I'm on location, then I'm drawing live and not using reference photo. Draw people who don't move much first. Anticipate people's movement also. E.g. If someone is at the cashier, draw that person first because he/she will be stationary for a while. Check out the tutorials beneath. There are too many tips and techniques for me to write. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NZ_XW2S23yk.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dbjtDJvmXlM.html

Great video! Beautiful demo. Would you mind sharing the type/brand of fountain pen you used? Is it India ink? I see it is not reactivating with water. I need one of those!
