They are! Very intense though to film everything, so it's nice to have a 'series'. Looking back it's so cool to see all the little things you did and forgot about.
I noticed you’re using unprimed paper with oils, just wanted to let you know that it won’t be archival anymore. The oil paint has a tendency to seep into the paper and cause it to rot and go mouldy over time. I always prime with acrylic then put oils on top, or if I want to put down washy inks in the first layer I do that direct on paper then use a clear primer. Anyways beautiful work! I thought this might be helpful 🤷
Thank you! Clear gesso might be a good idea for next time. I always wonder though how artists get that super wet blended canvas ecfect without gesso ánd have it be archival. I’ll have to look into it more :-) Edit: went into a rabbit hole. Paper is really thick and high quality so it should last for a really long time but it’s better to get paper for oil next time. Thanks!
