The Sketchup site shows wonderful vids of groups changing magically in unison, but doesn't explain the simple concept here, that you should make components instead. So obviously a group is only for local modification, regardless how many copies of that group. This explains it all, thanks
Hi, im using skp 2017, i have tried to follow your step but failed, when i created a component (box) then i move copy to another one, it became a new instance / intended component as box#1. So when I tried to edit one of the component it wasnt followed by the other one component. And also the make unique component also show in dark grey can not be selected. Would you please advice me how to correct this issue, sir? Thanks
