Hey guys, here's some instructions and links to materials and download for a free addon I currently have in beta that can help you create some nice SketchUp style renderings.
There are some free KIT OPS materials that you can work with. Just install them with the free (or Pro) version of KIT OPS.

There’s nothing I like more than downloading an add-on, enabling the add-on in Blender, and immediately being able to use the add-on. Simple Sketch produces immediate and impressive results. A very innovative project.

Ive been researching the best way to start my animation journey and i came across the lineart capabilities of blender. I have several animated series being planned and the idea of building models for my staging and characters is really enticing. Itll be alot of work at first but the repeatability will really save time down the road not having to hand draw every frame can turn a multi year project into a multi month project. So excited!

You might have reasons I'm unaware for not doing so, but you can always turn on "Back-face Culling" so your camera can see through the walls of the container rather than doing what you did.

Hi Luke, great idea, didn't think of that...probably because these days I work mostly in Cycles and that Viewport Display switch doesn't work in Cycles.

Holy S! This guy knows blender inside out!!! And im currently trying to get into blender!!! as a guy with a background in architecture, that has dabbled and used professionally in a practice vectorworks, autocad, sketchup, 3dsmax..... Blender looks mad!!!!! ive only just gotten half decent using photoshop!!!!! and blender looks like it does photoshop stuff too!!!! but holy heck would i just jack all the above switching programs if i can do everything in just the one program.... i just want to model something really simple like in sketchup but with accuracy and dimensions and then animate it.... then i may want to start getting flash with texturing and lighting etc i got lost when he went into that hi tech brief case thing and then went into all the menus LOL..... why isnt blender taking over the world...... why dont people talk about blender in the same way people talk about UE5 etc???...... coming from architecture and knowing even bog standard photoshop costs you 500$ or something and then stuff like vectorworks, autocad, 3dsmax, sketchup also costs money........ i really want to get good in blender and maybe UE5..... if youre currently out of work you dont get to use the latest and greatest bits of software.... you have ancient pirated software that was passed around unis lol

I believe Blender is 10 times bigger than any other 3d software, If you're talking about user base. So, yes, people do recognize it as the current leader.

@@ChippWalters its the current leader!?? is it? well even applying for work etc for architecture and interior design even video games..... its the regular big name paid for guys like 3DSMax, Maya, UE5 etc that they require...... but i have recently seen a buzz for blender that doesnt exist with any of the other 3d modellers apart from maybe UE5 and its the fun creative buzz..... maybe theres a correlation as UE5 i think went free and is also supposedly super powerful and easy and made huuge announcements and is also connected with the tv and movie industry.... i only found out or heard about blender recently only because i went on a concept art course and they were pushing it as its free.... im amazed by blender at what it can do without being costly to the pocket or a laptop and then theres the 2d photoshop animation stuff which just blows my mind that that can be achieved in a 3d space!!?? well anyway im hoping to get half decent at blender quickly but im getting sidetracked because its about 4 different programs in 1

Thank you very much, I was wondering if it is possible to animate the color of the lines to fade from black to white. I animated my background and object color in the shading node but it doesn't work in the SSketch panel. If somebody has an idea ??
