The Seakeeper 35 is designed to eliminate up to 95% of boat roll on boats up to ~100 tons, vessels ~85' and larger. Multiple units can be fitted for larger boats. Unlike traditional external fins, the Seakeeper 35 requires only modest electrical power, has no external appendages- meaning no drag or risk of snags-and can be installed virtually anywhere on board. $216,300
I'd go with an angular contact or just a deep groove XLS thin section bearing on either side facing inwards and definitely steel balls. 7000 series bearings. I bet you pay a pretty penny for those skf!!
I have a seakeeper 8000 in a Viking and have the high temp bearing alarm coming on as soon as you turn on the system after the boat not being used for a week. Any suggestions on repairs or company around key largo to do service/repair...
