if you want to see a comparison between slalom skis and gs skis check this other video out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KZxS-JmdAb8.html
hmm. I was just about to write; why did you fast-forward the transitions, that's where all the interesting things are happening. Otherwise, inspiring video!
there is some footage on the same skis at normal speed in these two videos: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KZxS-JmdAb8.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nJ935ZMAbo8.html
When you start edging how do you build up the pressure? Do you let it build up passively or are you actively pushing on that downhill ski to increase the bend?
I am your fan. I've watched all the videos. I found that this year's skis are clearly different from last year's. I don't think the skis I'm using this year match your ability. The performance of the ski is inferior. When you watch the slow playback video, the skis are rampaging at the turn maximum. Why not use Völkl?
Perfect ski, made for you, to bend it(to get it on near vertical). Reilley, do you think, e-original Head is too much for everyday skiing on variable condition?Radius 11M, unerfoot 66mm,hard tail....
yes that is true. The only problem is that we have had 40cm of natural snow all winter and we only have man made snow on piste and nothing off piste. So groomers is all we have. To be honest, I am just happy I am skiing.
@@ReillyMcGlashan I had different situation. Every day I had 20 -30 cm of new snow, so after 30 min of great skiiing the slope was rundown: small, irregular moguls and mounds of snow. I understand that no ski is universal, so I started to think about other skis for these conditions. Which skis should you choose when the slope is not perfect? Wider under the foot? with a rocker?
I'd be smiling too if I had corduroy slopes all to myself !!! :D :D Man I miss seeing real skiers on the slopes instead of just resort people on sticks :(
