This film takes place at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area in the late 1950s to early 1960s. The narrator visits Arapahoe Basin where she meets several ski instructors, now Colorado Snowsports Hall of Famers and ski legends (including Eric Windisch, Larry Jump, Willy Schaeffler, Lowell Thomas, and Chuck Ferries). The woman learns how to ski and ditches her final lesson, which ensues in a chase for her on the mountain by staff. Many silly events take place, but eventually she is found. In the end, she marries her ski instructor, moves back east, but comes back to A-Basin for fun in the sun.
