Skibadee, Fearless & Shy FX @ Prophecy FM 89.5 Toronto, 15.08.2000 - Side A
The best quality recording of this set freely available. Quality may be a little sketchy in some places as it's a radio and/or tape/CD rip. This video was encoded 'losslessly' (PCM Uncompressed).
I have pieced this together using the best quality full-length rip I could find, and my 10 minute clip of a 'true-to-the-tape' recording. The versions of this set floating around the net are pitched up by approximately 4.3%. This has been corrected with minimal quality loss. The HQ clip has been slipped in at 08:20 as best I could and finishes at 18:15.

I was down at the Docks the night before where Shy FX, Ellis Dee, MCs Skibadee and Fearless destroyed the place! Unbelievable vibes. I miss those days so much. We were young, reckless and free lol.

@@Jj-bt7cx It's true I used to work in music distribution and Canada was big importer of UK music. When Hardcore and Jungle music exploded in London it didn't take long for it to set off an explosion across the Atlantic in Toronto. Massive respect to all the Canadian Junglists and DNB heads!!

@@TakeMeBackPirateRadio When I first started partying in Toronto, I was strictly there for the Jump Up and Ragga, then everything went heavy and I left a few parties. It took me a while to adjust but I can't get enough of those modulated basslines now!

Saw MC Fearless in an interview, and he said they were all at the party the night before, he wasnt at the radio station, was chillin with someone in town and when he heard them rinsing out proper he hopped a cab to the station.

@@TSNNH they were booked at Awol in Toronto the night before. I think dj rap as well. Shy and Skiba were on the sunday night show and I guess fearless said wtf..take me there. They both long time Toronto favorites. Lots of history...especially Fearless
