The manual says to use a long bolt and a nut like you did. There is a small hole on both ends of the rear skid front arm, I used a small bolt and made it very short and cut a smaller diameter tip into the end, placed the bolt into the little hole and clamped it down with a small c clamp. Pinching the internal loose shaft. Then removed both bolts and removed pinch set up. I can’t believe with all the smart engineering in these sleds they couldn’t figure out a better way. How about making one side reverse thread , anyways ill be welding a little bolt tip to a c clamp and itll be my “special” tool.
