I've been a Skid Row fan since I was 7 (I'm 39 now), and that's the first time I'm impressed with a skid row singer other than Sebastian. Very good, Erik!
I entered here to state that only Sebastian can sing properly and finally I was amazed by the video. The voice is exactly like on the record and I really regret not looking up Eric's career. 🤔
Wow. I was expecting to hate on this guy but after listening to this, I'm pretty blown away. This guy actually rocks pretty damn hard and a really strong voice. Really good job!!

@@davydarkohi3016 It’s too bad Sebastian wasn’t Sebastian either. He could only pull off 70% of the studio work live. This kid is like the albums live. Now Bach’s studio work is right up there with Halford, Tate, & Dickinson…but live, he left a bit to be desired.

He is always like this. Of course he is happy to sing in Skid Row, but under the 13 years I´ve seen him on stage he always smiles and sings his lungs out.
Props to the frontman. Trying to even begin to hold up a band like Skid Row following in the footsteps of the wild man Sebastian is a task that aside for only the bravest Of the brave. This guy did a damn good job.
Erik Grönwall won Swedish Idol in 2009. He audition with 18 and Life and it still to this day is one of the best audition in Swedish Idol history. He had is own band for 10 years. In 2021 he got diagnosed with cancer, lymphocytic leukemia. When Skid Row contacted him to sing with the band he was still weak after his chemo. I have been waiting for someone to have been born into this world with an amazing natural high voice and then learn how to sing even higher by idolising Sebastian as he grew up singing these songs to then join Skid Row and be as good if not better than Sebastian ever was and revitalise these tired old guys and make them play better than they have for 25 years, this is awesome to see this happening I bet Sebastian is shaking in his boots, how must it feel to be Sebastian right now knowing someone is singing his songs better than he ever did and absolutely kicking ass and making him look like a real old has been. I hope this lights a fire under Mr Bach's ass and he gets himself in shape and works on getting his voice back to the way it was instead the horrible tone he sings with nowadays, Sebastian was brilliant back in the day don't get me wrong but it's been sad watching him deteriorate and become unrecognisable visually and vocally, I can't watch Sebastian sing nowadays as he is sadly disappointing and has lost what he once had.
I love Sebastian and I believed that was impossible for skid row to find a singer that nails it like him. But this time.. ohh this time.. I think they found it. Most difficult songs to sing in rock history and this guy kills it. Nice!

Omg... it was some time in the mid 90's ... because the band kept fighting internal battles and had massive creative and production disagreements that just messed up everything in terms of music and album creation, and the fight went on for days on end... abd Bach was usually the firestarter, stubbornly like a childish dictator because "He was the sound"...
No wonder Sabastian Back gets all salty and defensive when talking about Skid Row.....WOW, this guy has taken Skid Row and resurrected this band!!!!! His vocals are PHEMONENAL!! Skid Row songs no longer belong to Sabastian!!!! Damn they sound exactly like they did in the 90's, even better!!!

Guys actually solid and can sing. Love it. You can tell he grew up listening to Bach... Dudes voice is HEAVILY influenced off 80s vocalists. Definitely the best vocalist theyve had since Bach
I completely can't get over just how good he is!! I mean he hits every single note perfectly in key while walking around the stage, and his tone, vocal range and power, is truely amazing to listen to!
Hes fuckin AMAZING I rocked Skid Row since i was 17 speeding around Queens NY in my Camaro BLARING Skid Rows First album on my benzi box ALPINE ..SIGH....those were the dayz....this guy is a perfect replacement . i love Sebaz of course but this guy carrys the flag...
I went to this concert a week after this performance.I didn't think they would be as good without Sabastian bach.boy was I wrong.and I must say the zapos theater had excellent sound to it.scorpions were awesome too

This singer nailed it! Don't argue with me. I listened to their albums 1000s of times. Believe me, if I thought he wasn't cutting it, I mean killing it, I'd be the first dickhead to attack him. I can't imagine anyone coming closer to the rock God master front maniac singer/screamer SB.
In all fairness he is 34 vs some of these front men in original bands are in their 50/60s. They can’t be expected to hit those high notes like when they were younger. I have to say it’s ok if you need help to hit the high notes but if you can’t even carry the tune anymore then it is time to hang it up. Don’t ruin our memories.
This is the best that I've heard them sound since Sebastian left. I don't know if this is a new singer or what but you guys are finally rocking hard once again. Awesome job !!!

The dude has a really good voice but I don't know if it just me that my ears still looking for that distinct voice of the young Sebastian back in the 90's specially for the songs 18 & Life and I remember you. However, Skid Row still really rock. 🎯
Ahhhh memories.... 18 & Life was my favourite song as a kid. Everyone else was into Madonna, NKOTB etc & I was a little metalhead in my skin tight black jeans, New Metal boots etc. Not much has changed - I’m just an older metalhead now. I seen Sebastian Bach perform when I was travelling in in Sydney, Australia years ago & he was amazing (although he looked totally whacked out). This new guy seems really good. He has that Seb kinda voice needed for these songs while still just being himself. Great to see Skid Row are still going 😎
As much as i hate re-incarnate bands with new singers, this guy fits Skid Row and does a GREAT job on vocals. He has charisma and can hold his own, working the crowd and they enjoyed their concert. Skid Row was great with Seabass, but surviving well, with respect from a fan !
So good to see a band that was part of my childhood and adolescence return with everything turning around and making the biggest success. And to see how the band has matured with the new singer and how they are in tune and everyone with an incredible stage presence .
This new guy that the band got makes a huge difference! He's way better than the last guy they had when Bach left the band. He reaches those high notes when it's needed in the songs when Bach sang them. Glad Skid Row is back & better with the new lead singer!
Like I said earlier, Erik has defied The odds against him. He still looks like a young man and his voice is like a fine wine 🍷, the older he gets the better his voice gets. He's a freaken beast of nature with his voice.

Arnel is good in tone but he puts emphasis in the wrong places as if he doesn't understand what he's singing properly. That was early on at least, he may have learned to speak English better. This Erik guy nails SB's parts like a champ.
Bloody hell as we say in England....always loved this band ..thought they would never capture the magic when Seb left.. but wow this guy has brought the magic back...new album time guys.
