Sebastian Bach was the ultimate rock frontman. Literally one of the best rock vocalists of all time coupled with great looks and charisma. Unfortunately that bass player seemed to be hung up about being in control and seeing Skid Row as "his" band, so to see Sebastian get all the attention was more than he could handle. It's a real shame because Skid Row were awesome for a while. But the main songwriters haven't written a decent song since the mid 90's anyway so perhaps it was better to break up the band the way they did, who knows.

God, those jerks giving Sebastian their attitude is just painful to watch. He might be extra, but at least here he's doing his JOB by giving the interview and entertaining people while his bandmates are acting like 9 year old offended suckers.
The only reason they are looking like that is because they were under contract to make another album (Subhuman Race). They didn't want to make that album, they hated making it. Bach had been riding on a seperate bus because none of them wanted to bunk with him. They were done with him after the Slave tour, but like I said, had to do another album.
tell me about it. you can see even Rob is worn down from Sebastian's dumb jokes/tricks. More than once you hear Sebastian say something into the mic and no response from the band-that's a terrible sign. this was late '95 and the guys were over having him in the band and rightfully so. Sebastian was immature and continues to be 25 years later.
@@antimurphy8212 I meant if it were not for Sebastian's voice, & even actions not many people would know who Skid Row was. Back in the day 1989-1991 they were 1 of the top bands. Without him, I have not heard many tracks of theirs. Just 3 different vocalists.
Dark times for Metal fan's, Nirvana on Headbangers ball. I remember when the Ball started playing alternative bands, at the time It didn't seem right and then it was over. It was for the best rather than keep going downhill.
The whole band looked unhappy here, and they were. They'd been done with Sebastian since before Subhuman Race, but were still under contract and had to make another record. Nobody liked making that record.

These guys looked like they had a great time together!! They had such great chemistry and so much talent!!! These were the last of the Good Skid Row Days Sad to say!!! Sure would be awesome to get them back together again!!! I'm sure they had issues like most bands, but alot of them do bite the bullet and come back for all the fans that Love them!!! you can see Rachel being the typical little guy being jealous of sebastian . Sad. Because he should’ve realized that the lead singer always gets the most attention. It all comes down to the royalties and who gets paid more for writing the songs. Rachel is your typical Hater.
@Bandit-what are you talking about? Rachel wrote those songs. Check how few writing credits Sebastian has on SR records. believe me, it won't take long to count those. Rachel is not jealous. Rachel is just sick n tired of the immaturity coming from 1 band member. So jealous of Sebastian. Whatever the song writing without someone who can deliver it brilliantly will not find success. The looks, the voice, the passion. Sorry guys I bet he was a real asshole at times but did he deliver the song, he breathed it.
Couldn’t have the perfect frontman in every way without taking the bad with the awesome. He was absolutely a hand full and possibly a drag to deal with sometimes but they were reaping the benefits until they blew it.

@J.P Saym0 They definitely don't need him now. I couldn' t imagine working with him. Sometimes it cost more to keep him out of jail than what the gig paid. Also Sebastian did and said whatever he wanted, no matter how it reflected on the band. When he looked bad, the whole band looked bad. It must be nice not having to deal with that anymore. Imagine a guy demanding 50% for a reunion ( if that's true?), and the rest of the guys are supposed to split the other 50%, they nixed the texting with him after that, that was 2019.

The joke that Sebastian pulls with rob always makes me cackle. And you know it’s just a joke, because rob was the only one who backed him when they voted him out of the band and joins him live. @@antimurphy8212 The whole band was over Sebastian by that point. I've seen interviews. Bach was already riding on his own tour bus and even that wasn't far enough away. That's the only way they could deal with him, is put him on his own bus.
Sebastian’s the only one with charisma and personality. Rachel always had some kind of a God complex. He pretty much ignored fans. Sebastian was the one out there night after night signing autographs and meeting fans. Sebastian’s will always be a rock God! ❤

Skid Row's first ten minutes at Donington '95 was literally brilliant. I mean, not necessarily 'brilliant' as we might know it, but had Skid Row come out on stage, more pertinently Seb Bach, looking as they did, that afternoon, they'd just become massive media loves.
I was there that afternoon. A stupid spotty twonk with, well, spots. Bach ran on stage and headbanged so stupidly hard. He looked like he was going to explode with excitement and enlightened enthusiasm in front of a crowd of 50,000. As they say these days, SCENES.

I was at that Brixton show. I walked out half way through it. They didn't seem on form, and it was just... dull. They were miles better at Donington where Maiden headlined. I lost interest in them after that.

kinda sad watching an era fade like this. I was around for subhuman race, I think I was the only one at my school that had it. Weird time for music and the seeing how miserable Rachel is in the interview, it's easy to see he was hating what the band was and sick of bach. I know one thing though, if you want to get cussed out and kicked out of a show, go see bach

They never stopped being a hard rock band. You should listen to the whole albums maybe one or two heavy tracks on each the rest are rock & ballads business as usual.
Nah, they were never Hair Metal. A lot of those Hair Bands were totally awful, they didn't care anything abut Musicianship, they just wanted to be "rock stars" and get laid all the time. Bobby Dahl of Poison even admitted something to that effect himself. Skid Row had, and have, a good talent.
i didnt like subhuman race at first too heavy for Skid Row, i waited 10 years or so buying it only as Sebastian Bach sings still think its too heavy so dont really listen to it
