Couldn't have asked for a better first opponent. You've come such a long way Soapy. Very very proud of you and this really takes me back to when I was in an rhg with Phil. I know how you feel. If you end up winning, it'll make me smile even more.

I was staying up late to watch it and after I finished, I couldn't sleep because of the emotions I was experiencing from this animation. This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen someone do and gotta admit, one scene got me really close to tearing up. I can say much, but this is ART in all shapes and forms.

Absolutely stunning. I'm really at a loss for words! Your storytelling kept me captivated and the choreography was perfectly intertwined with it.

I mean no disrespect soap when I say this. Hyun's fight scene hits harder, but you're fight scene had a level of emotion that was just perfect 👌. I think I can speak for everyone and say we will be watching with great interest

This kind of animation set in mind is truly special. It's not crisp in flow movement, it got this fluid style that I really love. And how you animate the stickmans, really like it

This was a Really interesting approach to storytelling in this fight, where both of them are dealing with their individual trauma simultaneously in a huge misunderstanding on both sides. Very well done!

You did an amazing job, Soapy. It's interesting how stick figure animators switch from fight choreography and effects to storytelling and character's personality.

[A message to Soapy Bubbles] I came into this thinking that Hyun’s animation was gonna steal the show. I mean, he’s been doing this for over a decade. And this was your first match. So I assumed it was a simple as that. I watched Hyun’s version, absolutely amazing. Better than I anticipated. Then I waited for yours, seeing your past animations, I expected something in similar style/tone as Shuge or X’s animations. By the end of your animation, I had real tears in my eyes from the sight of some of the best combination of animation, music, and visual storytelling I’d ever seen come from this community. This was something I’d never seen in all the years I’ve been a part of this community. And I’ve been here since early Stickpage. You did something I never thought you’d accomplish. If this was a traditional RHG fight, I’d vote for your animation, no hesitation. It’s THAT DAMN GOOD. You should be very proud of yourself. Update: I did not know that Soapy was part of GildedGuy’s production team. That explains A LOT, especially because I was making a lot comparisons from this, to GildedGuy v Oxob. But I still think this is incredible because unlike GildedGuy v Oxob, Soapy didn’t have a team. And was still able to create this masterpiece in the span of under a year.

Soapy, you did an amazing job. The action following the musical beats, the mixed media with the background elements, the natural feeling dialogue , it's all so genuine and I love it. I need to come on the voice chat more often, I miss you guys.

While the pure animation isn't as good as hyun, I feel as though it has much more personality, and narrative is quite a bit better. Tough call on who won!

Hyun's duel was smooth as you'd expect but this one held so much more rawness. Emotion, to music, to visuals and details. It might be rough in a few areas art wise but that gives this style charm. The overall product is amazing and the attention to the characters, the care you give into including so much of 001's history as well! I think you won this one!

I love how the full storyline of this duel was two people beating each other up, then saving each other’s lives all because of unresolved familial issues. I also loved the rest of it, but that’s beside the point

This animation was beautiful, and I absolutely love your style. My only criticism is that at some points, it's hard to tell what exactly is happening in the fight. But really, other then that you pretty much nailed everything. I just subbed, and can't wait to see what you do next.

You know. When i first saw the animation Hyun uploaded i honestly thought it would be an easy win for him. But after seeing your animation i was both shocked and suprised... ok and in tears. I believe in terms of fluidity in both combat and animation that noone who is still in the scene that can match Hyun right now. But the choice of ambience and choreography of your animation just absolutely blew me away with how packed with emotions it was. This is the stuff i have missed so badly. Since the last fight of alfa. Honestly it was hard to decide for my personal winner but for me skid has won this time. Keep up the good work. I'd love to see you two collaborate with one another since i believe you can both learn a ton from eachother and create a new pinacle for others to aim for.

This is outstanding work! I especially loved how you kept One in character and even integrated it into the whole thing. Many duels seem to terribly misrepresent the opponent, and it really adds to this that you didn't.
