Hey Sam, I almost never comment on RU-vid videos but this one moved me to do so. I loved it! I'm from London originally and have happy memories of afternoons spent as a young boy marvelling at the awesome beasts flying overhead, filled with tourists, business people and crew from all around the world. When I was older, I discovered the wonderful Myrtle Avenue and couldn't believe what an incredible and intense spot it was for spotting. Seeing your infectious enthusiasm and willingness to share tips has brought back those memories. These days, i'm closer to Manchester Airport (EGCC) and we benefit from the dedicated Runway Viewing Park as well as other easily accessible pathways that offer viewing opportunities. None though are quite as good as Myrtle and, of course, the traffic scale & diversity is different. It's still a fun afternoon out. Thanks again for this wonderful video. Thank you Sam for sharing this. I grew up in the Heathrow Area and went to school there. The planes flew over my school so everyday at break time we were plane spotting.

Usted to work at LHR and rode my bike every day to work. Couldn't help stopping when landings were on 27L and taking some great shots. Nothing like seeing the 747s and A380s. Great view from Premier Inn T4. This video brought so many good memories. Thanks you.

I will always remember July 8th, 2018. I had two of my best ever flights that day. From Berlin to London we flew right over the city. And my connection to Phoenix happened to be on a 747. My dream to fly on the queen of the skies came true that day. Wonderful airport and many beautiful aircraft there. I want to go back and re-live that day.

Heyo Sam, as a frequent flyer and as an inhabitant of Surrey, I see planes landing and take off from Gatwick and Heathrow . I love the Virgin Atlantic aircraft and you should have filmed more of them. You should book the new upper class in the new 350-1000. They fly to JFK from the end of September/start of October. 🇬🇧✈️Heathrow is the best!! I’ve been to London for 3 times already but I never got the chance to spot at Myrtle Avenue as I was traveling with my family. The only time I got to spot the planes was on the day I leave Heathrow. I have to say that T2 (The Queens Terminal) is the best terminal to do a plane spotting since there’s a lot of windows to spot the planes. Anyways, excellent video as always Sam! Oh, I loved that! The magic of EGLL.. my home airport. 20 years ago I would sunbathe in my garden in NW London and watch planes fly over inbound or outbound and wonder. There’s a certain magic about going to this airport and leaving on an adventure. I can never get bored of watching aircraft. Thanks for a great vlog Sam.
