Hi ivwas there six weeks ago when Tehran was 45 digrees hot. We went to Dezin and Gagereh and Varangeh rood (river). The mountains are so great 👍 🌈🌞⛄ Enjoy

I have seen a lot of places in Iran, but Iran is a big country and there is a lot more to see there. Could you please tell me about your car and other facilities that you took with you? How did you get permission for transiting the car? I want to get transit permit. I dont want to import the car because of high export duties. What sort of paperwork you needed to have? I noticed you had a tent on the roof, how was that? I am now in England and i think i will be back in Iran in six week time. Hey :) Thats a great plan, I can highly recommend it. My car is a 23 year old VW Golf, so nothing special. I am sleeping most of the time (if the weather isn´t too cold) in my rooftop tent. I don´t really have other facilities with me, just a water tank, small kitchen area and a big powerbank. As an Iranian, I don´t know if you need special paperwork for bringing the car in your own country. For me as a German, I need the "Carnet de passages" (= passport for the car). You can get it with ADAC (You can also always contact them and ask questions). If you have the CDP, you don´t need to import or special paperwork. The Carnet is enough and without it you can´t enter the country. And for me, my Visa of course. Sleeping in the rooftop tent is great, if the weather is not too bad and windy. :) Otherwise it can get a bit cold. I wish you a wonderful trip and thank you so much for your invitiation. Take care ☺
Thanks for your reply🌹👍. I would buy a VW Sharon or Caddy Max so I can sleep inside. Taking it to Iran transit allows me to buy an older car, otherwise it has to be maximum 5 years old and pay very high duties. If anyone can advise me please do I appreciate it.
@@aakavous1327 I am not sure if it´s possible to sell a car from the uk in Iran. Because I think you need a Carnet to enter the country with a foreign car and then it´s not possible to sell or leave it there. You have to pay a deposit (for my car it was 5000 €) and you just get the money back when you bring back the car to Europe. I think the easiest way would be contacting the automobile club in your country. ADAC can help you for sure and they know all the important information with overlanding. Just google Carnet de passages. :) I´m sorry that I can´t help more. Good luck ☺☺
@@VeriBauer Very useful information. I wanted to transit a VW van to iran to camp and see my own country. I now realise that it is more difficult than I thought. I think it is easier to buy an old van in Iran and put up with the repair problems that it may cause than going through the beurocrcy of transiting automobile and using Carnet. Thanks for video.
