hope you all enjoy the video! we hit up both canyons and park city in one day! i'll be live streaming TONIGHT at 6:15pm PST and heading out to mammoth and tahoe tomorrow!
Glad I was there this week and left before the weekend/holiday. I never waited in a line. Well one line for the Gondola, but it was less than a minute at 0900.
Great vid man! I was on one of the first few chairs when McConkeys opened, there was at least 10 inches of fresh powder on everything, it was so so nice bro. We just skiid it basically all day! I dunno how I didn't see you :D
Great job as always. Would love to see the other Gondola...Quicksilver from Canyons to Park City. Excited to see where you go after this next storm cycle coming to Utah.
Been skiing the Canyons for the past 12 years really hard to hit all the spots in a day. You gotta go back and rip the 9900 lift, the peak 5 lift, and the super condor lift. All three are great areas and blow everything but Jupiter on the park city side out of the water.
My family has been going to canyon’s for 5 years and would never go any place else. Low altitude for my parents is a big deal because of headaches and it’s not far from the airport. Vid was amazing bro, you always show us the greatest 😤
Lucas you should ski Sundance Mountain resort sometime. It is a really fun resort and it is located up Provo canyon. Dude I love your vids keep up the great work. I love the Utah skiing.
Another great video there Lucas! I'm excited to get to Idaho just in time for days and days of new snow. Sierra's should be awesome this weekend. Try a thin sheet of bubblewrap on the windows as that should help keep the condensation off the windows. Or at least help a bit.
I'm catching up on the vlogs and first I see you are past 7k!! Holy moly congratulations, I remember when you had 200 subscribers. I hope you continue to grow. I was wondering regarding cold weather, what temperature do you think the van would get without the diesel heater? Love seeing the snow and love that you have Luna to cook breakfast right in the parking lot. Hope the day was fun despite the crowds!
thank you amanda! you have been here since the beginning!! and for your question, i think the van would get down between 20-30F without the heater especially in the cold winter temps, so the heater is a must! thanks again for all of your support!
That snow sounded EXTRA crunchy! LOL looked super cool though! I'm planning to eventually make it out to SLC the next month or so. Hoping to hit the Bird and Solitude fingers crossed. Also, congrats on the 6K! Well deserved, Lucas!
@@LucasCatania17 i love your spirit of adventure while camping in Luna, and being right there first🤠..keep growing your posse, and happy holidays.🚠🌡🌨🥽🎬💰.....❄alta(high rustler).
Can't wait to get out there in Febuary to Alta and Brighton, it will be my family's 25th anniversary of skiing out in Salt Lake. Camt what to get back on these mountains..keep the content coming brother, amazing stuff
Hey bro I found having one of those 50 dollar single bottle propane heaters and turn it on. On front see...that windshield thowd and warm up front 5-10 minutes. Way quick man!
Love the content. As always! I am hitting up Canyons more than likely tomorrow. Still deciding. I try to tell myself on the long lines that I have waited and hour for a 4 minute rollercoaster, waiting 30 minutes for an fun run that I can draw out and enjoy the views is so much more worth it!
Hey man I've been binging your videos over the last few weeks. Getting stoked about this season! You inspired me to start a vlog. I missed the livestream but do you have any videos where you talk about your camera equipment and editing software? Thanks man. Excited to keep up with your vids. Keep em coming!
Oh man. You missed everything lol If you cut right off the first run into the aspens or right off the lift and traverse, it was powder all over!! You gotta spend some more time on that side, there's a lot that you'd enjoy
Looks like you’re having boot issues like me! Guess you’re just too good and over flexed that boot lol …Going up this weekend to give my new setup a try!
Would love to see a canyons video again on the left side of the mountain that gondola that takes you to PCM takes half your day to get too and wastes the day sometimes I understand why you drive
when you start your skiing around 5:50 , what speed are you playing back the video? 125% 150%? Just subscribed, thought I had last year, enjoy your videos. Heading to Park City end of Feb, can't wait Hey - at 8:20 when you have the Max out in front, from the shadow it appears you are holding it in your right hand, what are you doing with your normal ski pole in that hand? I have a one x2 , taking skiing for first time this year. Thanks
@@LucasCatania17 sooo, officially you are a bit crazy, nice skiing, I added a question about the camera angles, might have been after you replied (you were quick) , see above
@@LucasCatania17 I didn't see the selfie stick in your hand. I'll watch your video again. Nevertheless, your videos are always engaging and a vicarious thrill while I sit here in NYC. I'll be in Alta for the season beginning mid-January. I'll look for you on the slopes. Meanwhile, happy holidays to you and yours.
It doesn’t ever typically get super icy out here because it’s so dry. Man made snow or not. It can get icy when it’s super clear because typically the sun melts things and then it freezes at night
