What do you think....should I keep making ski videos during the winter? BTW: Before you comment, yes I know that Cypress is actually in West Vancouver, but nobody outside of metro-Van knows where that is 😕
"You're a legend!" such a Kiwi comment and the accent so recognisable. 👍 Meanwhile it is 30C in NZ at the moment. Great MTB channel even if skiing is not my thing. 😁
Oh the batteries definately did die in the snow, much more than I expected....but I brought a charger to top everything up again. As I was doing the video I was going to do the arrows but it got chaotic with the style of video I was going after as I kept jumping around and half the time wasn't even on an official run....more between runs. I have another video in mind that will work better as a mtn guide (assuming people like this one)
I had no ideas where you were on the mountain, a map with a line would be helpful even if it's not a trail.... so a rough idea? But I loved the ski video.
Was debating whether I overlay a whole map and signage, but in the end decided to leave this as a fun ski video where I find out whether people even like ski videos
How did you get to passed over for taking the reigns from Warren Miller? A few times it looked like you were skiing up hill, not sure if that’s the gimbal or just the GoPro warp
Thanks very much! Skiing with it was actually pretty easy and unobtrusive even in tight sections and off jumps. The one thing that was proplematic was battery life as I was getting about 45mins-1hr before the camera was dead. Leaving it on even if not recording did help it stay alive a bit more due to it keeping things warm. Water was not a concern as both GoPro and gimbal are waterproof :)
