Foresty, if you ever get tired of producing RU-vid videos, you could definitely have a lucrative career in the film industry as a freelance action/adventure cinematographer. This footage of you shooshing down the slopes took my breath away. It perfectly captured the freedom and spirit of the mountains. I felt like I was right there with you, skiing both the scenically beautiful sections and the tricky sections of the ski run. Bravo!
I do not know if you understand what an amazing cinematographer you are. As one artist to another - I adore watching your videos. You have an incredible eye and the smoothest cuts. Keep going Foresty! You are amazing. And of course so is rocko!
Awesome as always! Thank you very much for the longer version of Foresty Forest's TREE SKIING!!! Loved it! great music! Wonderful filming! You and your dog are so blessed! More more more Please! Love the skiing!
My grin just kept getting bigger and bigger the longer you were skiing. Thanks for giving me a huge smile with this footage! I could actually feel the slope and angle and pressure and wind and I felt myself turning and shifting my weight along with you as if I were skiing again - wow memories are so powerful! Love this!!
whoah!!! that was rad! i have never seen such wide open skiing. nor sooo... many tight turns though the trees or hey!!! where's the trail in the shadows of the mountains... thanks for an incredible ride. rocko is one happy, privileged lit'l pup. thanks moresty forest. this is another keeper. continued travel mercies and blessings. 🕊
O.M.G!!!!!! Another one!! 💥🔥💗 This is what skiing us about, at least fir me, unfortunately I can't anymore...my hip. I almost started crying while watching it. Same with the last one. MAN!!!!!! Thank you Simon for another outstanding video 🥰
Watching the video sunday was like, yes there will soon be a downhill video, I'm going to love it. And indeed Foresty I love these videos, keep them coming!!
I'm too old and f-d up to ski the back country any more but for a couple minutes there the sense-memory kicked in and i was young again. Thanks Foresty.
Love shadow of you and Rocky...my hubby flies a powered parachute and always tries to get his ground shadow in pics...interesting perspective. Rocky needs ear muffs...bet they got really cold flopping in the wind like that.
Thanks for this. 50 years later I remember that ski route clearly. With my friends we had built an igloo under Mt Rhonda and skied it during the day and also by moonlight. We skied out through Peyto lake Arriving at the highway after dark. Hoping to hitch a ride back to Bow lake...we never saw a car. Got back to our car near midnight.. then drove back to Edmonton........Oh to be young again. So glad I did the crazy things I did.
WOW, that video filled my heart with joy watching you (and Rocko) ski down the mountain. Great video matched with excellent music. Thank you, thank you.
This is fantastic. Love it all. Rocko is so sweet. It is the sweetest how you take her everywhere and that she loves it as much as you. Just beautiful!!
Another long depressing day of trial. Perfect ending ❤ saw the video hit but wanted to wait until end of day. Beautiful 🥰 Peaceful and soothing. Thank you Simon, Love to Rocko 💖
Wow. Pure magic. As a life long skier, (my mom put me on skis at three years old, It's been 59 years now), I cannot express how blissful this was to watch. The bowls and then the trees! Wow.
WOW, that was fantastic!!! What a thrill just watching it!! You are really livin' the life! I squealed with delight when I saw Rocko taking the lead!!! And as usual the drone footage is spectacular All that mountain scenery is almost indescribable!
A mystical experience; even for us watching this video. So thankful I know to follow you on your many adventures. If not for the time you took Steve Wallis on a short hike, I would not know about you.
Thank you for sharing such a amazingly beautiful experience. It's something I will never do and somewhere I will never be... thank you for taking us all along with you and Rocko. ❤
My husband and I loved this video! Absolutely stunning views. We felt as though we were skiing with you and Rocko. This will be in my favorite videos as a total mood booster🎉 Keep up the good work and say hi to Rocko from us ❤.
Foresty thanks for not being creepy, for not using ASMR voice and for not utilizing click bait. All other van life channels eventually just start showing girls in less and less clothes. Your channel is an oasis of cool. Thanks brother.
Dude!, given your skiing abilities I can’t believe that you haven’t gotten an AT setup sooner! I know you’ve talked about it in previous videos but I didn’t realize that you had such a skiing background. Glad you got your ski setup, it’ll make you want to go places that your snowshoe’s can’t go! Rock on!
Foresty, have you ever thought about making a playlist on both the Foresty Forest channel and another one on the Moresty Forest channel of every video, from the first video to the most recent? I sometimes use a playlist that another one of your viewers made (that I copied from him) that has 240 of your videos. Sometimes when I am doing housework, I will put on this Foresty Forest playlist and just let it run, to keep me company while doing some mundane task. These playlists might help people new to your channel to look at a lot of older videos during one viewing session (since they automatically move from one video to the next). The more views on these older videos, the more residuals, right? And CONGRATULATIONS on reaching 396,000 subscribers. Hope you are planning some sort of celebration when you hit 400,000! Woohoo!! 🎉🥂🎊
I saw my reflection on my screen for a second as I was watching & I was smiling ear to ear. I could easily become addicted to watching the skiing. ⛷️It's so exhilarating! No other doggo would ever believe Rocko if she started telling them about her life. Truly one of a kind experiences.✌️
Great choice of terrain for someone new to backcountry skiing. Here is a tip. when skinning up, just glide your ski on the snow instead of lifting the ski. Great energy saving for long tours. Rocko is loving this.
Great video! I love the first piece, reminds me of Mike Oldfield. The framing in a number of the earlier shots makes it look like it is Rocco that is skiing down the slope, but then you see the shadow, and Rocco looks like a chest burster out of the movie Alien! LOL!
Always Breathtaking 😍 You are exceptionally talented. An honor to watch you enjoy your life to the fullest. I'm sure the news this week about Lake Mead vandalism has left you angry and saddened. Wish everyone had the same love & respect you do. I adore you & will be a fan of Foresty Forest for life 🤗🌱 💙 & Rocko 🐾
Good morning Foresty, I forgot to mention this earlier, when I made my previous comment, so I will tell you here. I really appreciate the fact that you included a map to show us that you had moved out of the National Park (and were on Crown Land, I assume) when you flew your drone in the Mt. Rhondda Foresty Forest video. Peace and eternal contentment to you, oh wise one! 🕉🕉🕉🕉🕉
I'm having a very emotional response to this. When I was younger my family took me skiing. We would go to Mt Hood and Mt. Bachelor every year. There is something about being in the mountains and skiing through the woods. I haven't been in so long, but this video made me remember how wonderful it is. Thank you.
