Have to say that I was on edge as you went of mt Moran. Don't know why, but seemed like you were a hesitant (with good reason!). Have to agree, best vid so far. Like your other moster trips, I need to go and lie down for bit!!
Bruh! Just did another rip of Mt.Taylor Winter Quadrathlon (44 miles) on 2 gels and 5 sips of H2O…respect your one gel ascent/descent and still did what it took to set up solo shots! Keep crushing’! You inspire me and my slayin’ Badass daughter Dewachen (15)! Thank you from Durango!
This is so awesome! I've always wanted to get into ski mountaineering and touring though I don't have any mountaineering experience. I'm moving out to Jackson to ski bum, teach, and get my avy this winter so hopefully I can find some introduction!
Awesome stuff! Love your adventures. 3 big lines in 3 days is just massive! Skillet isn’t even close to the longest continuous run in the contiguous US tho. Several runs on the volcanos - Rainier, Shasta, etc - are WAY longer. Rainier: summit>Fuhrer Finger>Glacier Bridge is an 11k descent, for example.
Well well well. I guess it depends what you define as a line no? I think the beauty of Moran is that it is a sustained descent for 6k without morain rollovers and lolligagging cruise haha ;)
