Skiing Green Beret, one of Jay Peak's most difficult runs, known for its steep, rocky, and icy headwall. The run mellows out significantly after the initial headwall, with a some fun little chutes and small rock jumps further down.

"can't hear you Danger Zone's playing" shredding to Kenny Loggins is the best way to hit Green Beret

😂😭I purposely left that in the video knowing someone would mention it. Besides that one sketchy turn on the upper headwall, the rest of the run was super chill! Hopefully I can hit the face chutes with powder next season!

Nice! Definitely a double black diamond as far as steepness goes. Conditions look pretty decent in Vermont! How recently was this shot? I have to get down to Sugarbush and killington before the seasons over 😅

I was at jay for the first time last Tues-wed, this was from wed. Looks like the season might be ending a few weeks early, as the 4 week weather models are predicting much higher temps throughout march. I hope the weather is wrong, but who knows lol. How has your season been?

Wow. Bulletproof. Or what East Coast skiers call "decent, not too bad". Doesn't seem fun when it's that icy.

@@cvn6555 it was actually wind blown powder! It had been visibly icy on the previous day, so we were also cautious to try it, but we were very surprised that the snow was pretty decent once past the intimidating headwall! The steepness and exposed roots/rocks were what scared me to be honest😅
