@@cbuatal I have no doubt that you are correct. Just that the original lift station I was told when there, that Mussolini wanted to open up the region for skiing and chose that area. Talking to an Italian hairdresser I used to go to, in the UK, he did not have a bad word for the dictator and said he was fed at school and other things being provided.
@@cbuatal Was not really a random person, but an old chap who worked there. Maybe he was like the hairdresser and remembered things from his childhood, just in case you find out differently.
@@dave20thmay If I had asked my grandmother who lived in that place at that time for an opinion, it would have been the opinion of an ordinary person, not that of an historian or an expert. Certainly an opinion as respectable as any other but it would not have been correct to take it alone as an indisputable proof.
