Check out our Ski trip to Zermatt Switzerland! We used our Ikon pass access in order to ski for three days in the shadow of the Matterhorn. Great to see the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise and the Gornergrat Bahn.
Unfortunately not. Buying the train ticket is a separate purchase. However, you can get to the same location as the train upper train station by skiing.
when you took the train to Zermatt Which Swiss Pass did you use? Did you buy just a direct train pass to Zermatt, or did you buy the half day pass then bought the train pass? Planning a trip from LA next winter
You use your IKON pass to redeem a Zermatt pass in person for the number of days you are on the mountain. We also showed our ID to match the pass to the person at the counter. :)
