Hello Skike V9 FIRE 200mm models will be available for sale at the beginning of February 2018. All the videos I made were made with the prototype testing the good functionality. The definitive model is going to be a revolution in cross-skating skates. The "LIFT" function and reverse lock system are really great and always with very good brakes on both skates . There are no more barriers, we go everywhere in skating or classic with your own shoes ;-)
Yeah I just bought the powerslide Tundras and I've been trying to find those one way ratchet bearings with no luck. I was able to install heel brake on them but it doesn't work very well in the dirt. And I think the 200mm wheels are going to work a little bit better than 150 millimeter wheels that come on the Tundra's so that's a good advantage.
Which is the difference in use between lift heel and fixed heel models? I am an ex skier, I would like to use it in a mixed environment with a mixed tecnique.....which should I choose?
Bonjour La particularité des patins skike V9 ( les v8 aussi ) est d'avoir la possibilité de l'articulation du pied. Pour les TOUR l'articulation est devant le pied comme sur des fixations de ski de randonnée et, sur des FIRE cette articulation est au niveau des metatarses. Cette dernière est l'articulation NATURELLE du pied. Elle a été breuveté par skike c'est pour cette raison qu'elle n'existe que sur les patins de cette marque. C'est aussi ce qui fait la polyvalence de ces patins. Pour répondre à votre question, je conseille de débuter ET d'avoir toujours le talon libre. Il n'y a pour moi aucun intérêt de bloquer le talon. Étant donné que le pied a ses mouvements naturels, en cas de déséquilibre votre cerveau va réagir comme si vous étiez pied nu. Il n'y aura aucune gêne pour déplacé le pied pour se récupérer. Si vous souhaitez sauter un petit trou ou une petite racine, le saut est facile avec le talon libre, il est quasiment impossible avec un talon bloqué. My son is 8 and wears 20.5 cm shoes, is his shoe size too small for the Skike v9 200 Tour? If I may ask, how old was your daughter at the time of the video?
For an 8 year old child with a foot length of 20.5 cm, skike skates will be too big. The official size is 36 to 47 (European size) I developed a system to allow the use of V9 skike skates for small feet. I have already tested size 31 (European size) and it works at the front of the foot (reduces the width). This kit is easy to mount on V9 skates. At 8 years old, your son is still too small, especially for V9 TOUR 200 (the longest and heaviest skike skates. My daughter was 12 when I recorded the video. I would like to point out that she had been practicing artistic roller skating since the age of 6. She had experience like clockwork ;-)
@@ManuelCampana-MC-A Thank you for the information. My son has been playing football (soccer) for over 4 years and also has been inline skating for about a year. Inline skating has greatly improved his coordination, sense of balance, conditioning of the abductor muscles and inner muscles and his ability to run in dual axis mode. I figured Skike would be a great upper, lower body, coordination, stamina exercise without doing any football related workout to prevent repetitive exercise injury. I will have to postpone this for a little bit till his feet and physique is a little more mature. I am very much interested in the photos you uploaded. It looks like a metal plate that is bent to sandwich the shoes. I looked on the Skike site but it is not on sale. Will this eventually make it on the site?

the skike I used for the videos are the prototypes. They are equipped with wheels with test tires that weighed 565 g. I weighed the wheels that now equips the V9 FIRE 200 that will be on sale. Their weight is 490g. The forks have also been changed and they are lighter. The 2.6 kg are the v8 FIRE 200 that are on sale. I weighed the V9 FIRE 200 prototype.
The new V9 Fire rollers is heavier and officially weigh 6350gr (Information from the site of Skike). You do not know why the weight became more 1 kilogram?
