Skill4ltu REACTS TO FLAMETHROWER TANKS ON THE RU SERVER Skill4ltu link - / skill4ltu #skill4ltu #squadrado #wot #wot_eu #skill4ltu #worldoftanks #best_moments #wot_best_moments #flamethrower
Just to make it more funny and logical, they should have make these flamethrower tanks to have double or triple the chance for engine fire or ammo rack explosion if they got hit.
While flamethrower vehicles were used on infantry, to clear trenches and bust bunkers where the KV2 couldn't get (or on the western front), molotov cocktails were used by Russian and Finnish soldiers alike to destroy German and Soviet tank engines by throwing it onto the engine deck and overheating the engine. While they would be ineffective against vehicles from the front, the heating of the tank armor could cause heatstroke for the crew inside the enclosed vehicle
This concept would be interesting to see. I was thinking and it's good if they had a percentage of catching enemy vehicles on fire if they are hit by the flamethrower, however it would be small percentage... For example in the front of the enemy vehicle (If the engine is not in the front) [Front armor is -> 0% chance of catching on fire, but still subject do direct damage] [Side armor -> 10% chance and still subject to direct damage] [Rear armor -> 25% chance and still subject to direct damage] {Tanks with engines up front is exactly the same values although reverse order}, another point is reducing magazine clip size down to 2 and giving a short magazine reload. this is my opinion.
The problem is not the dmg, i think the "stun" it will be a thing to consider before rush a Flamethrower tank with a super heavy. Maybe this type of tanks will be a "active stun support", cause with that sniper mode, it means we can use a "parabolic" shot and help your team in a hulldown situation. But honestly, it seems to be a concept for now. Maybe Wg wants to create a "event mode" for this type of vehicle before test them in the SandBox mode.
@@chems Chems, facts are facts. Skill is a talented player. Having hundreds of tanks MOE amd the win rate he has is a proof. Its a neutral assumption. Saying that this makes me a worshipper is ridiculous. May I ask, what is your intention with this message? There's nothing positive on it. I really recommend you to slowly get out of that toxicity cycle. You are not that, it doesn't represent you. But as long as you are on it, your life will be a maked up mess. Good luck :)
These were bunker busters and trench clearers so historically real. They were not for killing tanks but in one Russian battle and one pacific battle they did just that. However none of the super heavy tanks: Maus, T28 were anti tank they were bunker busters too. So Wot has a lot of tanks that were never supposed to fight tanks fighting tanks. This is a good working implementation. I'm the guy that talks about APC and infantry simulation. This would toast my halftracks, kangaroo's and early APC's nicely. In both the Russia and the Japanese case the Axis attacked with open hatches or no hatches and never know it was a flame tank until it was too late. Most flame tanks retained a gun. The Sherman flame tanks will be very interesting. Their man gun plus flame thrower was particularly useful. In game modes where there are bunkers this will be a lot of fun.
I am from the RU servers and believe me I hate this tier 8 premium arta with a passion!! It has 500 mm armour in front with the mobility of a light or med tank and with the speed as well. This flame is not doing that great of a damage but it can burn you so many times and at the same time it is rly hard to penetrate it(fun fact the weakest spot is in the mantlet and still it is hard to pen). When I can get rid of this tank from a battle I become rly happy ngl
Gotta love how skill is so worried about how heavy tanks wont have to care as if some of the most meta heavy tanks dont have something about them thats very squish. The arty mode wasn't even utilized and the tester was also a complete shitter. Id imagine these are tanks that could take some strong positions snd then just fucking shoot over them. But then again what do i expect from Skill
@@squadrado this is true. But they didnt sell WoT to this RU company, right? It is a license cooperation. Usually, the license taker cannot change the product by himself.
Ofcourse as heavy tank I would mind them, cause they can stun me. Stun from arty is annoying, with this flame crappers it will become more annoying. No thank you.
From a real perspective, flames cannot damage a real tank...not in this way anyway. Maybe WG will find a way to make the machine guns of the tanks actually work and be useful. A flame thrower is no use or fun in the game.
You kidding me? Get a Molotov on the engine deck and you utterly F UP any WW2 era tank. Heck, even modern ones would be fucked unless they have some kind of fancy fire extinguisher system!
@@alexthegreat5009 Most flamethrowers in WW2 used liquid fuel. They are not some propane torch like depicted on some movies. Check out videos of M2 flamethrower and Sherman/Churchill Crocodiles.
@@kdh6387 yes I know, but molotovs flow downwards into the tank and meanwhile catch on fire, but these flamethrowers' fuel is already on fire if it reaches a target that far away. Of course if the fuel still hasn't ignited yet and flows into the tank and then ignites, it's basically the same. But that's probably less likely to occur with a flamethrower. It's kind of understandable why it does this much in-game.
If it can fire to like 200-300 meters and has a good, very steep artillery arc, it could be useful... Otherwise looks like utter garbage. Also love how they call it a new mechanic when it's literally just a reskinned machine gun with bigger hitbox projectiles that also stuns!
