Literally anything off of Collide, the album right before Comatose, which was their first mainstream album. Collide was written during one of John's(who's bi-polar) really bad episodes. It's by far their grittiest album.

I am not religious nor Christian in any way, but i love Skillet, even if they are a Christian band, because they do their lyrics so well. I can interpret them in my own way and relate on a different level. Great band.

I love that this song is the story of John's band (lead singer and founder). They didn't have a mainstream hit for over ten years and now they're one of the biggest rock bands in the world. John is the real deal and one of my favorite people right now. Long live Skillet!

Loved watching this video, and how you genuinely enjoyed Skillet. I'm very curious to see what you drop next time. I am old school metal but I transition with the times and I first heard skillet I was blown away and a few years later my daughter went with her church group to see a concert and when she got home she had a skillet shirt on. I'm like where you get that? She said at the concert. I'm like they sell skillet shirts? She said well yeah I mean it's there concert. 🤔 .........OMG!
