Ok, not necessarily meaning that we should enjoy harming ourselves because that would be awful, but more so on learning to hone in on our personal defeats and failures that we have to endure in order to learn how to become a better version of ourselves, and become more resilient and stronger against those failures and difficulties. You know? Skillet is called either a Catholic or Cristian band, but me, an agnostic person, finds their music amazing and I've been listening them for years now. I haven't been convinced about religion not even once, I just...enjoy their music. And I know a lot of people like me, with another religion or without religion, that thinks the same. I lost my son 5 years ago in a car accident along with his girlfriend he was 18 for Christmas prior to his death I bought him tickets to Skillet, he was so excited since it was his favorite band. We had such a great evening together and I will never forget how much he loved the Concert. A few years later I went with my other children in memory of Simon. And last night I went again in SLC. This song came when I was high in the depths of a relapse with anorexia and my first round with bulimia. I had never fought harder with anything more than eating disorders, now I fully quit and I'm fighting off temptation to fall back in. Praise Jesus for letting me survive the battles
