I swear this song has like 4 or 5 hooks in it. I love the interesting drum work, and the harder sections. It certainly slaps! :) Excited about days of Skillet ahead! I hope you get to see them in concert some day, I've heard they are incredible live. I'm going to be seeing them mid-June. Can't wait.

I don’t know if anyone has said this but before Jen joined them Korey Cooper did the backup vocals, in some of their older songs back when Lori Peters was the drummer you can hear Korey sing, one is called Rebirthing the video is on RU-vid. John Cooper has said in interviews that Rebirthing is his favorite song of theirs. Also as well as Rebirthing if they have not previously been recommended I would also suggest the songs Save Me and Sick Of IT.

I love Jen but I do miss hearing Korey as often, she really does everything for the band.

I really wish she would sing more, though I understand why they feature John/Jen so much. re: does everything - Yeah, if I could spend an afternoon with one of the band, it would be Korey. I'd love to see how she does so much of the technical aspects of production for the band. (Also, I'm just getting into some of their older stuff, but Korey is vocally featured in The Last Night. She reminds me a bit of Pat Benatar who was one of my favorite female vocalists when I was growing up.)

Just to let you know there are many older amazing Christian Rock groups you should checkout sometime. Bands like Petra, Resurrection Band aka Rez band, Tourniquet, Deliverance, Holy Soldier, X-Sinner, Barren Cross, Whitecross, Shout, Styper, Ken Tamplin, Thousand Foot Krutch, Red, Nine lashes, Switchfoot, Pillar, One Bad Pig, Crashdog, Guardian, Larry Norman, Newsboys, Audio Adrenaline, and Bloodgood. Just to name a few lol. If you want any suggestions let me know. Thanks for the reactions to Skillet.
