Such a shame because it's their greatest worship song they ever wrote. Skillet used to be way more openly Christian in there lyrics than they are now. You did a beautiful acoustic cover, well done!
I'm so glad other people know this freaking song! It's like Skillet's older hits are completely overshadowed. I did my own cover not once but several times cause it's a favorite for me to play live. Excellent job ^^ If I may make another suggestion, A Little More from their Collide album would be awesome.
Well for one, A Little More is the ballad of Collide, so it's not as heavy as the other tracks. Plus Kevin is known for softening the tone of heavier songs, as evidenced by his Breaking Benjamin covers.
After being subbed for years I've only now realized Kevin sounds quite a bit like Opeth's vocalist. Just listen to Hessian Peel by Opeth, the fry, tonality and timbre of their voices are very alike!

Never heard the original, only know a few songs by skillet even though I have a shirt of them. Still, at this point, I listen to your covers because it's you doing them, not because of what you are covering in specific. :)
