I heard this song for the first time the day I found out my mom had cancer. She battled for ten months and lost her battle almost a year ago. May 26th @ 3am my dad called me to tell me my mom was being rushed to the hospital because she couldn't breathe. On my way there "Watching For Comets" came on. When I got to the hospital my mom was gone. I used this song for a slideshow of my mom's life at her funeral. I listen to it several times a week. It reminds me that no matter how tough things get for me, it's nothing compared to what she went through in her 10 month battle for her life. Thank you for this...

my best friend committed suicide on the phone with me when i was in eighth grade and its been 4 years since it all happened. it traumatized me and devastated me. i could never get over it and after i heard this song, it helped me grieve. thank you skillet. god bless

I don't know why, but this made me think of my grandpa. He was a priest and just loved and believed in people. He passed away three years ago and it shattered my world. But this song just brought back so many happy memories of time I got to spend with him. Thank you Skillet.

The loss of someone is devastating. I lost my wife of 41 years on Oct. 30 2021. She was my soulmate and helper in ministry. I look forward to the day Christ comes and we no longer have to look for comets to see them again.
