**clears throat** ...so...I wanted to point something out, on my favorite version of this song... ...if anyone else has played Skyrim, and specifically the Dark Brotherhood questline...one of the DB quests is actually called "Whispers in the Dark". It's when the Keeper Cicero bemoans the lack of a Listener...at the precise moment the Night Mother speaks to the Dragonborn and _names them Listener_ ... ...so...due to my fondness of Cicero...I always imagine this song playing when the Listener is finally confirmed, and she vows to protect and adore the Keeper...

Okay, you two have the voices I match with my dragon brothers (originally a Roleplay idea, now a story idea) Yami having Jonathan's deep, almost booming voice while Hikari has Caleb's softer, more smooth voice I think it fits really well with their personalities too!

I remember seeing Skillet at Winter Jam, it was my first concert (and probably last considering how expensive concerts usually are) and hearing songs written by him is so nostalgic!

It's funny, your covers for whatever reason seem to simultaneously improve on the songs and yet remind me why I liked the originals in the first place, or make me discover songs I wish I'd known about before. Skillet I had a passing liking for, went off them a bit due to the whole Christian side of things, then started to like them again because they do actually have decent songs and shock, horror, they're able to do Christian music without it being too obvious!

So awesome to hear you guys cover a song from Skillet! This was frickin cool :D Seriously, if you're gonna do more Skillet songs, please cover Comatose and Invincible- I think they'd be excellent songs to 'metallify' :)

Personally this is one of my faves skillet songs, especially when they did it live. The live versions started with a violin and cello opening. And fire. That leads into my question. Why was the music so muted compared to the vocals, guitar solo excluded?
