In era of Zidane and so many greats, he was easily the Goat even at his 70% self after injury, there was no dispute. Truly the best player ever in my book.
When you say there won't be anything like something that becomes logic less and overly emotional. Because that means you will not give any opportunities for someone in future . Because you fixed your mind
@@Enigmaprince Hell no lol and this is coming from a brazilian who even watched him play for his team(Flamengo). R10 was great, but he was no R9, mainly for national team.
The most gifted and talented player the world has ever seen. He's dribbling and finishing just leaves you in awe and dumbfounded then you just realise how lucky the world is to have had him bring so much delight to the football world.
What makes him completely unique from all others is he did it all on the fly.. his *speed of thought* and execution was ridiculous 0:52 the decision to pull back the ball on the second defender was on purpose.. a plan to open his legs and leave him open for a nutmeg.. all done in milliseconds Watch it again at normal speed and try to think that quick ! it's insane !!
@@R9naldo Awareness is an assessment of the surroundings.. intelligence is calculating and prioritising those thoughts as to which option is executed. He had a high level of awareness but his intelligence is what outsmarted both defenders 3 times
@@djfunkychicken Well said. I would also say that reactions is also very crucial here. He has the awareness of how much space he has, quick reactions to read defender's body language and see him committing and then the intelligence/skill to pull off the correct move. When it's broken down like this, this is an insane display of a footballing brain, especially for a 21 year old youngster.
For me, this is why I consider him the greatest of all time. No one, not even Messi or Christiao had even done any of that or replicate it. He was known to have invented tricks never seen before or again.
Not just the skill alone, his strength aswell insane aswell.running at fullspeed and doing body feint the same time is not easy at all. The way he dribbled no one is even close. It costed his knee for those beautiful plays. He was basically attacking the defenders instead. No defenders want to face him
T h thats just bs, i mean the ñart that "he moves SO fast that he injuries himself" it's more likely fue to the hard tackles he had to endure at Serie A (who was known to be the hardest for Strikers at the tome) and barely resting and recovery after 98wc and then Inter, it was wayy more common to infiltrate or push players to play while hurt or injuries due to their status (now theres some more care about that, thats one of the reasons player career has extended compared to decades ago) and Ronaldo being a worldwide Star he just didn't have the luxury yo miss a couple of matches to.fully recover, thats how he worn out his body that led to that mayor injury, added his glamgilar problem, after being so much time without training fue to his injury he started to gain weight and .oré stress to his Knees, thats how it happened
his best ever skill was the elastico he did against Stam in the 1998 WC SF. He was sprinting at the speed of light, yet he did an elastico to get past Stam as if he never existed. Frand de BOer fouled him, otherwise it would have been the greatest WC goal ever. I sit on my safe and just try to perform on the elastico. I cannot comprehend how he had done it.
@@soumyadeepgupta944 so you mean the real ronaldo is a freestyler with 3 bollon dior😅🤌🤷🏻♂️??? Ronaldo got 3 of them at the best era of football with figo, Zidan, rivaldo, romario, Carlos, totti, del Piero, klinzmann, Batistuta and…..! How many bollon dior could christiano or Messi get at that era😅🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️??
He dedicated himself... Doctors said he would barely walk after the injuries and he went on to win a World Cup and be the Top Scorer. He was always dedicated.
At these times I see how blessed we Brazilians are in football, most of the moves were already made here in the 50s by Garrincha and Pelé, Ronaldo played a lot, he was the best I saw play, but many in the world only got to know these moves in the 90s with Ronaldo, here in Brazil, it was and it is just a weekend at Maracanã...
@@carlei83 he didnt Need to be at his prime to win 10 ballon dior! He got fat before 30! Even Messi doesnt take football seriöse like Christiano🤫! Done players were born to be great without training like Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Messi
@@tahaahmadi8306 R9 fucked up both knees before 25.. Got tyroid health problems.. Still pulled out new tricks week in week out.. I want to see messi & r10 with fucked up knees doing R9 did, they just can’t.. R9 talent is above those two..
@@tumesnahat2695 ok you know football better Tham me😅? I won asian u19 championship and played in worldcup😅🤦🏻♂️! Here is my assist in final baby😂🤌👇 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-u0NG-nHvvZg.html
He does a basketball crossover too….. against a team in red when he played for Brazil when he first started . One of them ends up on the floor of course
The ones who see and understand football know he and Maradona are the greatests of all time, ..the owners of football try to sell Messi, and gullibles are buying that
Ronaldo is one of the greatest ever but many moves in this video were done by Romario, Van Basten, Vialli and Garinchia before Ronaldo....he invented one and made a cocktail and combinations from previous moves which in addition to his speed and good positioning in the field made him one of the best strikers ever (and he has a high sportive spirit and humbleness)
Nah bro is insane lmao wtf.😭 Every time I start thinking about how kind of overrated he is,I find one of this video and I’m like wtf…Why are some people trying to claim this guy named cristiano is the goat when he isn’t even the best ronaldo ever?
He didn't actually invent any new tricks, he just introduced them to the world in an era when there was no RU-vid and European audiences rarely ever saw any football from South America.
I don't think those were invented by R9, I think other great dribblers in the past may have done such things. I am saying this with R9 as one of my most liked players of all time.
@Beluga Yeah, I think there is a video of Pelé doing the Cruyff turn before Cruyff did it. Also, Pelé himself admits that he learnt the bicycle kick from watching another player do it and then he practised doing the bicycle kick many times on top of his bed until he got it perfected lol. Have a good Saturday 🙂.
