Wow. I have watched many marketing youtuber videos and you are the first to make me feel like I am coming away with tangible advice. I am not thinking of being a brand manager but still want to pursue marketing and I’ve watched 3 videos of yours now and they are actually so clear and specific. I am definitely subscribing
I'm currently a business administration student and consider becoming a brand manager in companies like P&G. While I was browsing some videos related to branding or marketing, I found your video. This was really helpful and insightful. Thank you for your advice! Rabeea😊
I have watched multiple videos on this topic but most were speaking a lot without telling exactly what it is. You concised & explained it so well. You make a great brand manager.
I never leave comments on youtube and wow, just wanna say kuddos because your information is super clear and actionable! As I transition from the music industry, it is now super clear to me that Brand Management is the path for me :) thanks again for the video!
Best 10 minutes i've ever spend on youtube! thanks a lot Rabecca, however can you make a video on Corporate Branding and how can we prepare ourselves for getting a job in that section.
Hi Rabeea, thank you so much for sharing with us! :) This is the best video I have ever watched about Brand Managers so far! I'm very interested in growing in this position, and your video was able to give me the guidance I needed. I loved how you structure the content, very well done!
That's a great video. Kindly make a video about the skills required to become a trade marketeer in the FMCG industry and how it practically wòrks. It's important to lead the channel and category.

What are the KPI's for brand managers? Are they also given targets? What are they judged on? If an advertisement campaign doesnt bring the desired results in terms of sales, is that considered a failure?
1) it depends company by company but normally might be variables as gross margin, net contribution, market share, top of mind, unaided brand awareness, product and category penetration… 2) Yes. Normally the goals follow a waterfall approach where they are defined by the C-suite of the company and then go down to each level of managers. And then you as BM will also have to define your goals according with the corporate strategy of your company. 3) They are judged one if you achieved them or not. If you were to close or to far way and why did it happened. 4) you will learn that you will fail more times than you will succeed. The most important thing is to learn from your mistakes. And keep in mind a campaign is just a small thing within all the scope of a brand, therefore the most important thing is to achieve the yearly goals of the brand. I hope it helps
Hello Rebecca, i am fond of your videos and am actually learning brand management online how ever i would recommend you if tou can make a series and also if yiu can elaborate a little bit more it will help people like us. Thanks I really appreciate your attention
Hi Deih, yes I have! Market sizing is a common question in Brand Management interviews, I was asked how many iPhones I think there are roughly in Dubai. The interviewer doesn't care about the number you give, but the reasoning of how you arrive at the number. :)
Hi Rabeea, has your masters degree helped you in any way? Im planning on pursuing mine in marketing however its a huge investment for me + i feel like recruiters care more about the quality of your past experience than your degrees. Thanks a lot in advance for your insight !
Hi Nadeem! My Master's degree helped me pivot from Luxury to FMCG so it turned out to be a good decision for me personally. But it's definitely a huge investment + really depends on your personal circumstances and what you want to achieve out if it. Luck plays a role too!
Hi mam, I watched your 2 videos and I have a question I wanted to learn brand marketing like creating a brand from scratch and loved using canva for infographics and other stuff to post on social media Could you please tell me which course should i take for brand marketing on Coursera or any other platforms thank you

Could you please help with information about this role, is this role like being a marketing specialist?. could you share me any links that might help me to understand the role?

I have one question that is not normally polite to ask but I am interested on that to see the potential I can achieve in my dream job (Brand Manager at a FMCG enterprise): what is the salary range for an assistant brand manager or a brand manager in companies like P&G, Unilever etc (I know it depends on the country we are based)? Thanks and continue with these wonderful videos 🙏
Hello Rabeena, 1st of all awesome video, thank you for the video. I'm from India, Even though I'm trying to get into branding, P&G rejected my application. I'm trying to get my career in brand, can you help me with the same. Even a small start is a gain for me. Hope you will reply to the comment.
